(all these things aren't as important as the actual story, but, in all honesty, these are the very first things someone sees, and they'll make or break your reader in many cases. That's why they're not worth tons of points compared to the other things, but they still need to be good)

- spelling, grammar, sentence structure, etc

(if there's only one or two small mistakes that don't hinder understanding then don't take off points, but if it's a lot of mistakes then don't hesitate to mark down a lot)

- plot

- introduction of characters and ideas

Second round:

- same as above, but not cover, summary, and title

Third round:

- same as above, plus writing style
