Friends? (Chapter 6, Jealousy)

(Yin's P.O.V)

"I-I'M NOT GONNA WEAR THAT!!" I yelled, covering my red face. Soundwave recently got everything from my room and brought it here after he got better from his injury. Right now, he was suggesting that I put on a short black dress from who knows where, and when I mean short.. I mean short. "Question: Why not? Most female humans like wearing clothing related to this." He said to me, "I-IT'S JUST- I d-don't... like.. dresses.." I lied about the reason, but it wasn't completely wrong. I don't wear dresses, at all really. Soundwave looked at me, confused. I just kept what I had on now. Then he- DISAPPEARED?! He all of a sudden disappeared from my sight, I couldn't see him anywhere. "S-Sounders? Where'd ya go..?" I started to panic slightly.

Out of nowhere, I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. "WoAh-" I quickly turned around and saw a boy, it was the body Soundwave used to talk to me at the diner.. but.. more professional looking. "Command, Calm down." Soundwave says, smiling. I just couldn't help but blush, why though..? "I-I.. Sounders?" I say, speechless. His smile grew wider by my words, "I, I, Yin?" He said, 'w-was he mocking me again?' "Question.. do you like it?" Soundwave asked me, and I repeatedly nodded. "Y-yeah! You look so.. cool!" I swear, I was blushing like crazy when I said that. I could tell Soundwave was startled by my outburst, but he thanked me afterwards anyway.

"Wait.. I just thought of something.. if you're here.. then.. where's Lazerbeak?" Soundwave stopped, and looking around the room. Then I heard a loud squawk, and a black and grey bird glided down, and sat next to Soundwave. 'Oh, there he is..' "Sooo... what now?" I say to Soundwave. "Oh, I have something in mind." I could tell he wanted to do something, not sure what though. He paused, then walked over to my desk, and pulled a few books from it's drawer. "I heard humans entertain themselves by using.. these, I would like to ask you a few questions about them and.. some other things I found interesting."

So that's what we did. We spent half of the day asking and answering questions about different objects from Earth. Books, TV remotes, vases, picture frames, and a few toys. I answered all of the questions about these.. but there was one thing I.. just couldn't explain. It was a dog collar, I was too afraid to explain what it was used for. He
asked me why and.. I just said I didn't know. I could tell he knew I was lying, but he didn't push me to answer. I then remembered something, that feeling I had when he said 'Oh, I have something in mind.' why did I have that feeling? I knew he wanted to do something else, but I really don't know what. "Yin, are you alright?" Soundwave said, I just nodded.

As the hours past, I got a bit bored, and I could tell Soundwave was getting bored too. "Hey.. can I meet all the other robots here?" I said, he corrected 'robots' to 'Cybertronians', well, the more you know the more you know. "Command, follow me." He said, "You don't have to say Command.. I'm not a dog.." Soundwave looked at me confused, "Statement, of course you aren't a dog, you're just my pet." I just blushed and nodded slowly. He walked toward the edge of the table, and juMpED DOWN- oh there he is. Soundwave had turned back into a Cybertronian and let me up on his shoulder. He walked out of the room, and looked around. "So.. which one first?" I say, him seeming deep in thought.

(Soundwave's P.O.V)

"So.. which one first?" I heard Yin say, right now I'm thinking about which one is safer with humans. Megatron, no. Breakdown.. unclear. Knockout's okay. And Starscream is out of the question. "Statement: Knockout." I say in response to Yin's question. I walk down the hall toward the med bay, where Knockout works. When we got there I held Yin in my servo, and opened the door. "Ah, Soundwave. How's the back?" Knockout asked me, "Statement: Fine, Yin wanted to meet everyone on the Nemesis, and you're first." I say, and Knockout smiles. "Oh, I'm flattered you wanted to meet me, human~." Knockout walked over to Yin, looking at her up and down.

"Hello Knockout, I-I'm Yin! It's very nice to meet you." She says, smiling. "Oh it's nice to meet you too~. When I found out there was a human on the ship, I just couldn't wait to see them~!" I put Yin down on the table, so they could continue their conversation. But, I couldn't help but feel.. strange, like I didn't want her to talk to him. It's just the way he acts, I know he acts like this all the time, but for some reason.. I don't want him to talk to her.. like that.. "I really like your paint, Knockout.. It's gorgeous!" She says, "Why, thank you, Yin~. I must say, you're the most gorgeous one here, sweetspark~." I heard Knockout say in response. 'Gorgeous'?, sweetspark'?, I felt a pain in my chassis, what was this feeling? I quickly took Yin and put her on my shoulder, saying bye to the cherry mech, before leaving as quickly as I could.

"So, which one next?" Yin says, smiling at me. Who was less dangerous? Breakdown, Megatron, or Starscream? Definitely Breakdown. I walked into the training room and there he was. Breakdown looked at me, then at Yin. "Woah, so the rumors are true! There's a fleshy on board?" Yin looked slightly offended by the nickname, but she was okay with it. "Hi, I'm Yin. Who're you?" I heard Yin say. "Who am I? WHO AM I? Well, my designation's Breakdown, one of the most powerful Cybertronians on this here ship!" He yelled out, his smile is as big as ever. I put Yin down again, and they started talking. I kept a close eye on Breakdown, making sure he won't try anything like Knockout. Still, even though he didn't, I just couldn't watch anymore. I took Yin back before they could say bye, and left even quicker than last time.

"W-why didn't you let me say goodbye to Breakdown?" I heard her say, but I didn't answer.. because I don't have one. I don't know what is making me think like this, or feel like this. Am I.. jealous? No, I can't be, I cannot fall in love with a human.. can I? I didn't notice I stopped walking. "Uh.. Sounders? Are you okay?" I heard her voice, that voice.. I just wanted to hear more of it. I looked at her, that face, I just couldn't stop staring. So.. it is true.. I do love her. I can't believe this, what would she think of me? I can't tell her just yet.. it's too early. Oh Primus, what do I do.. "Sounders? What's wrong? Are you maybe.. jealous~?" Scrap, she caught on. "Statement: I don't know what you're talking about." I say in response, maybe a bit too quickly.

"Heh, don't worry Soundwave, I'm joking." Yin says, I noticed her cheeks were red. What did that mean again? I hope she's not sick.. I'll have to research it later. I started walking again, now, Megatron.. or.. Starscream? Megatron. I'm not letting her anywhere near Starscream. I walked into the Control Center, and there in the middle was Megatron with his arms crossed. "Ah, Soundwave. What is your reason for being here at this time?" He said, "Statement: The human wanted to meet everyone, so I'm letting her." I say back to him. "I see. Human, I am Lord Megatron, Leader of the Deceptions." Yin nodded, and smiled. "I'm Yin, it's nice to meet you, sir." Megatron seemed confused by that sentence, then laughed. "To you aswell, Yin." He then turned back to what he was doing before, so we walked out silently.

"Is that all?" I heard Yin say, "Statement: One more." I wasn't going to let Starscream get to know her, so I went to 5T3V3 instead. 5T3V3 was nicer than him, one of the weakest of soldiers though. I tapped him on the shoulder, and he jumped. "Oh! Soundwave, sir. And.. the human?" He said, "Hello! Who're you?" Yin said, seeming more confident. "M-my designation is 5T3V3." He replied. "Oh.. like.. Steve?" She said, and he nodded. They talked for a while longer, before we had to leave. I'm okay with 5T3V3, he doesn't get any ideas.. "Th-thank you, Soundwave. I knew you didn't want me to talk to them.. but thanks for letting me anyway.." Yin said, and she hugged the side of my visor. Energon rushed to my faceplates, why does she have to be so cute? I walked her back to the office, and placed her down in her room. She seemed tired, so I let her rest with Lazerbeak for a while. I have to think this over..

(Yin's P.O.V)

I laid down on my bed. Today was fun, although, it was all over the place. But.. Soundwave was acting strange. Was he.. jealous? It can't be.. he doesn't love me the way I love him..
