Friends? (Chapter 9, Reunions)

(Yin's P.O.V)

I woke up from a nightmare, I hoped to look up and see the bottom of Soundwave's desk, but it was my house's ceiling. Then I remembered what happened yesterday, and almost started to cry. I held it in, since I heard Mother call us for breakfast. I got up from the couch and walked sluggishly over to the kitchen table. Mother put a plate of chocolate pancakes in front of me and my brother. "Heh.. my favorite.. thanks." I thanked my mother, then stared down at my plate. I just don't feel hungry right now I guess. I stood up, I would have to go back to school today. I took my book bag and opened the door. "HEY HEY HEY HEY WAIT FOR MEEE!!" I heard my brother call out to me from the kitchen. He ran out the door with me, and we both started walking to school.

After School

People stared at me, the all started asking questions, even the teachers. It was a bit uncomfortable. I walked through the halls when Vince came up to me. "Well, if it isn't shorty! Where'd ya run off to? Narnia?" He mocked me, I just stared at him. "What? Now you're mute?" I sighed loudly and pushed past him. I heard him call out to me, but I ignored him. It hurt a little, but I knew he was like that to everybody. My brother and I walked out of the school, I looked over to the right and I saw Miko, Jack, and Rafael staring at me. When they noticed me staring back, they all waved awkwardly. 'Just like the others..' I turned away sadly, and kept walking.

(Soundwave's P.O.V)

I was back to working in my office, when Knockout walked in holding Lazerbeak. "Here you go, he's all fixed~! Say, where's Yin~?" I was confused by this, who was he talking about? "Question: Who is Yin?" I asked, and he looked confused aswell. "Have you gone mad? Yin's your human! Ugh, never mind, I'm sure she's just with Breakdown. I'll leave Lazerbeak here for you." He said, and walked out. Lazerbeak attached himself to me, and I felt a pulse of energy run through me. 'Wait.. Yin.. that name.. I've heard it before..'

Flashbacks

I watched as the human girls ran away from me I recognized one of them to be the Autobot's pet.. but the other was new. I decided to not follow them myself, but to use Lazerbeak to track them, most preferably the white haired female. I then transformed into my jet form and flew back to the Nemesis, ignoring the green Autobot calling for me. I must learn about this new human.

Soundwave: I'm 19, I have black hair with purple tips, and I live in Jasper Nevada. 🙂

_Yin_: Woah! I live in Jasper too! I'm 19 and I have white hair. 😄

_Yin_: Is it okay if I call you Sounders? It's shorter and I think it's nice!

Soundwave: Call me what you like, I don't mind. 🙂

I placed the rag under her, I hope it will hel- Wait. No. I cannot get too attached. Information is what I need. Why do I keep straying from the mission? Is it her? No, it must be something else..

"Statement: Your an adorable pet, I'll get to feed you, dress you, care for you, and get to accompany you everywhere you go."

'Sounders..' I remember her calling me that in text. I turned and smiled, before leaving toward the med bay.

I like that name.

I heard her voice, that voice.. I just wanted to hear more of it. I looked at her, that face.. I just can't stop staring. So it is true.. I do love her..

"Oh.. What's mission? Why.. can't I come?" I heard her say, I put a sad face on my visor. "Statement: Too dangerous for you, I don't want you to get hurt." I said.

"S-Soundwave?! What are you doing?!"

End of Flashbacks

'What have I done..? I must get her back..' Lazerbeak agreed to my thoughts. I quickly ran out of the office, and went toward the deck. I was almost there, when I was stopped by Arachnid. "Ah, Soundwave. What do you think you're doing?" She said, and I paused, "Statement: New mission." I lied, she doesn't know of Yin, and for good reason. If she were to find out, Yin would be in extreme danger. I slid to the side so I could pass her, but she moved back in front of me. "What mission? Is it important to you? Even more important to you than me..~?" She stepped closer, and put her servos around my neck. 'I know what she's trying to do...' I pushed Arachnid away from me, and she stumbled back.

"Wh- How dare you?!" She yelled, "Statement: This mission is more superior than you in every way." Arachnid gasped, clearly offended. She growled and stepped out of the way. I knew she'd find a way to make me pay for this, but I didn't care for it. When I made it to the deck, I looked up at the sky I was under. It was the same sky I met Yin, and it was the same sky I let her go.. but soon, it'll be the same sky I get her back. I transformed into my alt form and flew toward the desert where I last left her. When I got there, she was gone. 'Scrap.. she could be anywhere.' I looked around, and saw tire tracks, that of a camaro.. Bumblebee.

I transformed into my alt form again and followed it. It led to the destroyed Autobot base, but there was another set of tracks. A truck, 'Optimus Prime?' I thought, and I continued to follow the trail for what seemed like hours. Finally, I came across Jasper, 'she lives here, right? I'd have to blend in..' so I did, I turned on my holoform. I wandered the streets in search of her. I came across the school, 'the school she goes to..' I decided to ask one of the humans where she was, the first one I saw was an orange haired male. "Question, have you seen Yin Lin?" I asked him, and he laughed. "Oh yeah, her. She just left. Just like the coward she is, HAH."

I was deeply angered by that sentence, 'How dare he say such things?!' I thought. I decided to deal with him later, right now, all I need to do is find her. I ran down the sidewalk, looking at every house when I spotted hers. I quickly went over to it and knocked on the door. An older woman answered, "Hello, may I help you?" She asked, and I nodded. "Question, is Yin Lauren here?!" She seemed startled by my tone, but said yes anyway. "Please, I must speak with her.. it's important.." she smiled and nodded again, letting me in. I ran up the stairs, already knowing which room was hers.
I tried opening the door, but it was locked. I knocked on the door quickly, but no answer.

"...Yin." I said in my voice, my real voice. I heard a few noises come from the other side of the door, and it opened slowly. I was met face to face with Yin as I stared back into her eyes. "I'm.. sorr-" My sentence was cut short when a pair of lips met mine. I was slightly confused about what to do or what it meant, but in my spark I knew what it was. I pulled her closer to me, and I felt her smile. She stopped and stared back at me. "I don't wanna hear it, Sounders, I already forgave you." She said, hugging me tighter. "EWWWWW, GET A ROOM YOU TWO!!" I heard a young boy say. Yin gasped as she turned to him. "BRO, YOU ARE SO DEAD!!" She ran toward him and he ran downstairs. 'They're related, I can tell.' I thought, and Lazerbeak agreed.

I smiled to myself, 'does this mean she returns my feelings?' As if on queue, she ran back up the stairs, and looked over at me. "Hey.. Sounders?" I looked back at her and wrapped my arms around her waist. "Hey... Yin?" She laughed at this and smiled. "You know what that meant? The.. kiss?" She said, 'oh.. that's what it's called..' I knew what it was, but I shook my head anyways. I wanted to hear her say it. "It means.. I love you, Soundwave." Her face turned red as she said it. "Oh.. and does this mean I love you back?" I said, and kissed her again. 'I guess she isn't my pet anymore..'
