Christmas was great, but unfortunately after dinner my mom had to go to the airport to leave again. So Michael, Kelvin an Monique rode with us to the airport. The car ride was far from quiet, if it wasn't for my mom making jokes an telling embarrassing stories about me an my sister I don't know if I would've been able to keep it together. When we make it to the airport Kelvin, Michael an Monique hugged an kissed my mom goodbye a told her to come back safely. They stayed outside by the car while I walked in with my mom.
Ms. Cole: hey cheer up.
Me: I just don't want you to leave. I haven't seen you in six months
Ms. Cole: I will be back sweetie. You have great friends an their parents. I trust you in their hands. Oh an this is my last tour. After this tour I will be home but you will be going to basic training.
Intercom: Flight 387 is now loading
Me: well that's you. I love you mom.
I hug her an watch her go through the gate. I stay their for another maybe ten minutes. I head back to the car an see Michael on the phone an Kelvin an Monique talking. We load back in the car an decided to head to the mall an hop on some after Christmas deals. I saw some shades I wanted.

*Kelvin POV *
While Lewis was inside the airport I decided to talk to Monique. Michael got a phone call from Dasia. It didn't seem like it was good. So I decided I'll ask him about it when we get back to the house. Well Monique an I were talking.
Monique: so how long have you liked me?
Me: a couple years
Monique: so why wait til now to ask me out.
Me: believe it or not but I was nervous, plus everyone thought that you would date Michael.
Monique: why does everyone think that Michael an I are dating?
Me: because y'all two have the boyfriend-girlfriend type of relationship. Y'all call each other hubby an wife. He kisses you on the lips. He doesn't want anybody near you that he doesn't approve.
Monique: we are just close.
Me: well when I asked for his permission he threatened me.
Monique: well don't hurt me an you don't have to worry about it. Can I ask you a question?
Me: shoot.
Monique: Why haven't you had a stable girlfriend. You sleep with almost every girl at the school.
Me: Don't get offended when I say this but I don't sleep with them I have sex with them then they go their own way. Girls know what I'm all about, but I know there is only one girl who can make a honest guy out of me...
Lewis: Hey guys. My mom said bye. So where to next

*Lewis POV*
When I got back I saw what look like a argument going on with Michael an I'm guessing Dasia an Kelvin an Monique look deep into conversation. I needed to lift everyone spirits. We go back home tomorrow an I wanna spend all this time with my friends. We load in the car; Kelvin is up front with Michael an I'm in the back with Monique. Monique look deep in thought about something, I'll ask he when we get to the mall. We got to the mall an I told Kelvin an Michael that I wanted to speak to Monique, so they went inside the mall.
Monique: L what's up?
Me: you seemed a little distant in the car.
Monique: Naw I'm good
Me: bull, I've know you for five years now an I know when something is wrong. Plus Michael was playing Drake in the car an you didn't tell him to turn it off. So what was that intense conversation you were having with Kelvin before I came out the airport.
Monique tells me what her and Kelvin were talking about an I can't really blame Kelvin for asking that question. I had a crush on her but her an Michael seemed very close for best friends. I asked her how did she feel towards Michael an she told me they are just friends. But unlike any other time she is asked that question she hesitated this time. She seemed unsure. I told her she needed to figure out her feelings for Michael. She told me Kelvin asked her on a date an she said yes. I could only hug her. Then she reminded me that she couldn't date Michael even if she wanted because their parents are dating. Oh yea talk about awkward, my mom an Kelvin dad traded numbers and emails. We joked a little before heading in the mall to meet up with the guys.
The trip to the mall was hella fun, we got good deals, we laughed an laughed an ate an laughed. Things between Monique an Kelvin seem to be back to normal cause when I went to get a refill on my drink I saw Kelvin  holding Monique hand under the table an she was laughing at his jokes. Now Michael on the other hand looked depressed. I will talk to him as soon as we get back to the cabin.
We arrive back to the cabin an see Mr Wythe an Ms Union watching tv an Mr Dunkin is on his laptop talking to who looks like my mom....WAIT THAT IS MY MOM! I wave at them an follow Michael upstairs. He still seemed down. Monique was going to check on him but I told her I would. You know it's a guy thing.
