Chapter Seven: Day Eight

I am staying at my cousins for the week and school is kicking my but as well (online college) It is taking a lot of my time up.

Day Eight

Everyone was packing up all their clothes and getting ready to leave. Everyone was up by seven so they decided to leave early. Abby had everything packed yesterday when she had nothing else to do so she headed down stairs to get breakfast. While she was headed to the elevator Jeremy happened to walk out of his room with all of his things. He also had a bag with a wedding dress in it. They both didn’t look at each other until they were in the elevator. That is when it downed on them who each other was. When Jeremy noticed who she was he stopped the elevator. Abby started crying but didn’t make a sound. Jeremy asked her what in the world was going on. She told him that she didn’t really know and that they shouldn’t do anything about it right now. They both exchanged numbers. And he said that he would be texting her once in a while. She told him that she would be in home in a week as she had two weeks before she started school. Jeremy stated the elevator, and they talked all the way down. Abby told him that she lived in Gadsden Alabama, and that she was 18. He was happy that she was of legal age. He told her that he was moving to Gadsden to be a teacher at Gadsden High school. She said she knew that school that was the high school she attended. She didn’t tell him she still went there. They finally made it to the lobby. He told her that he would be talking to her and when she got home they needed to meet up and figure out what to do with the situation at hand. That he would be contacting a lawyer to find out what they needed to do, and he would tell her when she got home.

After talking he headed to his limo and headed to the airport. Abby headed to the café and got something to eat. Then she headed up stairs to see what the others were doing. They were all packed and had the cars packed as well. They all headed down and checked out. It was about nine when they got on the road to head to the house in California. Abby and Alex were driving. They played the game that they played when they were on their way to Vegas. Whoever one was going to choose what they did that night. The boys won, so they decided that they would all be going and walking on the piers. 

It was about four when they arrived at the house. It was a huge six bedroom house and everything was set up for them. They all decided that they would have their own rooms and only share rooms two nights while there. They didn’t know what all they were going to do but they knew they were going to have fun.  They also noticed that the house right next door to them was for sell so Alex called the realtor and asked about the house. The realtor told him that the asking price was $254,000. The owner was moving out of state and didn’t want to keep the house. Alex told realtor Jenny that he wanted to buy the house.  She told him that he could come by the office tomorrow and they could discuss it. He made the appointment for one. Then he told Abby that they should by it so they would have two houses. She told him that would be great. They both had the money. They always save their money and their parents gave them whatever they wanted.

After exploring the house and picking out rooms everyone headed out for dinner they all ate at a local shop on the pier and then walked and played games. They spent the whole afternoon and evening on the pier. It was about nine when they headed back to the house. They decided that they would drink at home that night. Everyone did except for Abby she didn’t want to drink in case she was pregnant because she had a feeling she was. She just told everyone that she didn’t want to overdo here self.
