I wake up around nine and roll out of bed. Something inside of me feels different today, like I feel like there's something I just need to do but i'm not at all sure what that is. I unlock my phone and answer texts from Ashton and Michael asking if I was coming to the gig tonight. I decide on seeing if Jay wants to go to the mall and have lunch since we couldn't the other day.

Lunch and mall today?
9:30 a.m
I gather a few of my things and go into the bathroom. I strip off my pajamas and hop in. I let the water wake me up for a little while before finally washing up and getting out. I dry off and then wrap the towel around me. I grab my phone and walk back to my bedroom. I open up my curtains so that light can enter. I check to make sure not only are Luke's blinds closed but that his car is gone. Wouldn't want him seeing me change, that would be an absolute nightmare. I put on a gray bra and underwear set, a pair of blue skinny jeans ripped at the bottom, a tie dye t shirt, and a pair of sandals. I go back to the bathroom and brush, blow dry, and straighten my difficult hair. I brush my teeth and apply my simple makeup before deciding that I definitely look good enough. Janelle said she was down so I'm picking her up after I visit my mum at the hospital. I gather my keys, wallet, and phone and then leave the house locking the door behind me. I climb into my car and turn the AC on because today is one of those days in Sydney where having just the windows down isn't enough. I plug my phone into the aux and play a Chris Brown playlist because i've found a new love for his music. I back out of the driveway and nearly hit our mailbox.
"Shit." I curse under my breath, something I nearly never do.
I drive down the empty neighbor hood and smile at the few older couples walking on the sidewalk. I live in a fairly nice and quiet community, it was best for us because of dad being so famous. I stop at Mcdonald's and wait for my turn.
"Welcome to McDonald's, what can I get for you today?"
"Hi i'll take a large iced coffee six creams six sugars, a sausage and cheese bagel, a hash brown, and a medium vanilla shake." I order.
She gives me my total and I pull up to the first window to pay her. Then I wait about ten minutes to even get my food because their backed up. On my ride to the hospital I eat my breakfast and then once i'm parked I grab my drink as well as the shake and my phone and walk in.
"Hi, i'm here to see Mrs. Deal."
"And who are you to here?"
"Her daughter."
"Go ahead."
I walk down the cold hallway and the feeling of sadness fills me. Everyone in this ward is either sick or recovering. I knock twice for a warning before entering the room.
"Morning mum." I say with a smile.
"Haley, hello I was hoping you'd be by."
I sit down on the edge of her bed and hand her the milkshake. "I figured you could really use one of these."
"Oh thank you." She says hugging me happily.

I visited mum for an hour before she grew tired and the nurse asked that I leave for her to nap. When I get into the car my phone rings and when I pick it up I answer as fast as possible as I realize it's my dad.
"Hello dad?"
"Haley, how are you holding up?"
"Oh i'm trying, I never expected this to happen again. I guess I should have prepared encase."
