I wake up turning my alarm off again before crawling out of bed and down to Tommy's room. I told mum i'd drop him off again today if she picked him up because I have football practice. Or as most American's call it, soccer.
"Morning Tommy, sissy's going to get ready come get me if you need help."
"Okay sissy." He says rubbing his little eyes.
I go back into my room and close the door behind me. I slide my lock across afraid of my little brother walking in on me. I make sure my blinds are shut tight and then strip off my pajamas. I throw them into the hamper and put on a red bra and underwear set. Then I slip on a plain grey dress that meets uniform standards. I go into the bathroom and brush my teeth then I throw my hair into pig tail braids. I slip a small pair of hoops into my ear piercing and pull out my small makeup bag. I apply black eyeliner on my waterline, a nude eye shadow, mascara, and a clear stain on my plump lips. I put it all away and go back into the bedroom. I pack my duffle bag full of my cleats and equipment as well as drinks and a spare change of clothes. I babysit occasionally for a family across town and they asked me to work tonight. I kindly excepted because I could really use the money. I slip on my white vans like yesterday and shove everything I need in my bag. Once i'm ready I gather all my things and bring it out to my car. I put it all in the backseat and then go back in for Tommy.
"Tom, are you ready to go?" I call through the house.
He comes running downstairs with his backpack on. He pulls his shoes on super fast while giggling.
"Yes sissy I was watching paw patrol." He says giggling again.
I laugh buckling him into the car before getting in myself. I press shuffle on his playlist and we drive to Mcdonald's while talking about ninja turtles.
"What do you want to drink today?"
"A hot cocoa."
I smile at him and ruffle his hair.
"What can I get you today?"
"Can I get a small hot chocolate, a sausage burrito as well as a hash brown, and a large iced coffee with six creams six sugars." I order.
Mum was gone early this morning so Tommy needs to eat breakfast still. I pull up to the first window and pay and then to the second. I collect our things and pull to the side. I set him up with his food and then drive him quietly to school sipping my coffee. He stuffs his garbage into the empty bag as we pull into the drop off area. I help him unbuckle and he climbs out. I hand him his cocoa and bag and smile at him.
"Have a good day buddy, mum's picking you up today."
"Love you sissy."
"Love you little buddy."
I drive away and change the playlist. When I'm parked I grab my coffee and back pack and then lock my car and walk into the building. I meet all of the boys as well as Janelle in the library, we have a free period first today. The only one not seated at the table is Luke and I let out a breath of relief that I didn't even realize I was holding in.
"Morning guys." I say seating myself next to Cal.
"I like the dress." Cal says.
I smile feeling my cheeks heat up. Whenever any boy shows me attention or complements me in any way I can't help but blush. I've never kissed a boy, played seven minutes in heaven, touched naughty parts or had mine touched. I've staid innocent and untouched for as long as I could not wanting to do things for the sake of getting them done.
"Thank you."
"So Luke's going to join the band." Mikey cheers.
I sip my iced coffee as my stomach turns at the sound of his name.
