Faith

Most people just go home to see their parents. I have to go to a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center to see my dad and I never got to see my mom. My dad gets better every day, slowly but surely. I've never stopped praying with him and it's just a matter of time before he'll be able to come home. I want to see him more often because he's the only parent I have and I'm about to go off to college, but that's something that's not under my control. God, I know in my heart You'll make a way for the pain to disappear. Yours, not mine be done.

Matthew

Finally, a high school graduate. Take that, everyone who thought I wouldn't get my high school diploma! Now, look at me: moving two hours away to university, NOT community college. Yeah, I barely made the cut, but now that I'm here it's time to celebrate my achievement. What better way to celebrate than go to frat parties and get wasted? College life here I come!
