Andre POV

"So what are you doing later?" Carla asks as we sit down the street from Leviticus eating lunch. We've hung out every afternoon and evening since we met that night in the club.

"Going to my little brother and sister insanely huge 16 th birthday party, my parents are throwing them" I say.

"Oo that should be cool" she comments.

"Yeah the things is,since they're on tour they just think they're gonna preform tonight at some random party venue but it's gonna be their party which should be a big surprise" I add.

"Aw that's cute" she says.

"Yeah my parents are going all out.." I reply trailing off. "I was wondering if you'd like to come actually" I add.

"Of course id love to come dre" Carla says blushing a little.

"Okay well I'll pick you up after work we can go get something to wear" I say.

"Alright welp I should be getting back to work now. See you later" Carla says leaning over and kissing my cheek. She gets up then walks out after paying for her food even though I said I would get the cheek.

Honestly Carla isn't like any of the other girls I've dated after my divorce from Rhonda. Yeah summer made me feel happy again but Carla is just really different.

She doesn't want me for my money. She doesn't use our relationship to help her out in any way including at work. She's family oriented and just normal. Which is exactly what I was looking for. I need someone who is reliable and doesn't cause me problems.Carla is just that. Unproblematic and Sweet.

Sure I don't know everything about her yet but from what I've seen I know she'll be good for me.

Hakeem POV

"Aw shit" I mumble looking up at the clock.

"What's wrong" Sasha asks as she writes down lyrics for a song we're working on. We've been writing together a lot since I didn't go on tour with T.

"My sister and brother party is later" I say. "I gotta go get fit for my suit" I add.

"Oh okay. I can work here till you get back" she says.

"How about you come with me to get my suit. Get you something nice to wear and come to the party" I invite.

"What? I mean I'd love to but don't you have a wife?" She asks seeming awkward. I bust out laughing shaking my head.

"Sasha not as my date but as my friend. My wife won't mind" I say chuckling. I mean Sasha's bad but my wife is even badder and I'd never mess up our marriage over a quick fuck. Even if I'm mad at her right now.

"Oh! Okay cool" she says. "I've never been to an event like this. Sure I've written for the artist that will be there but I've never partied with them" she says while grabbing her purse.

"Welp it's a first time for everything"I tell her.

Tiana POV

As i stand watching my dancers go over the choreography for tonight I see the door open.

"Brody!" I yell happy because I haven't seen him in a minute. "Guys take five" I add. My dancers quickly disperse.

"Hey T, I was in the area figured I come through" he says handing me a Starbucks cup.
