Carla POV
This is so fucked up. I can't believe this shit.
I reach over and grab a napkin to wipe the tears off my face. Maybe they're blurring my vision. That has to be the only reason why I'm seeing two lines on this stick.
I can't honestly be pregnant right now. Especially not with Andre Lyons baby. I mean I love the man, but this wasn't a part of the plan when I talked to him that night at the bar.

"Carla you ready yet" dre calls through the door, startling me.
"Uh yeah I'll be out in a second" I say back. I grab the pregnancy test and stuff it into my bag before washing my hands and fixing my makeup.
As I open the door dre looks up at me and smiles.
"Girl we're gonna be late. You know my mom wants us all there before ray gets home " he jokingly says.
"Sorry babe I just had to fix my hair and makeup "I lie pulling on my heels.
"It's okay,you look beautiful though" he assures .
"Thank you baby, let's go" I say standing.

I look around the living room at all the get well soon flowers and cards. I can't help but to feel bad for this family because they really don't know why such bad things keep happening to them. But it's all because of their parents.
I lean back into Andre then cross my legs, automatically I start shaking my foot to relieve some of the stress.
"Are you okay?" Cookies voice pierces through the silence.
"I'm fine.. just tired" I lie with a weak smile.
"Oh..okay" Cookie says deciding to not push it. She can tell that I'm lying but I'm honestly not in the mood to try and make her think otherwise.
"Y'all Ray is coming!" Mercy says. We all get ready for her entrance.
"Dad why are you wheeling me towards the living room and why am I even in a wheelchair?" We hear raven question down the hall.
"You ask too may question curious George" Lucious snaps before appearing in the door. The shock on ravens face is evident.
"Welcome home"everyone says but she just shyly smiles.
"Thanks y'all" she says getting up out the wheelchair and walking to the snack table.
"How you feeling?" Mal asks walking over and placing a hand on her shoulder.
"I'm fine mal" Ray says with a sigh. It's so obvious that this girl is depressed. I haven't even been around this family a year and I can tell. I don't know why they don't get her some help.
"Hey y'all" Noble greets walking into the room. No one really acknowledges him and it's clear that he did something to piss cookie off because she's throwing him the mostly deadly stare.
"I told you to be back before ray got home" Cookie snaps.
"Ma..there was traffic" he lies.
"Stop lyin boy" Lucious booms into the quiet room.
"I'm not-"noble starts only to be cut off.
"Can we eat? I'm hungry" ray asks .
"Come on y'all" Lucious agrees. We all gravitate towards the dining room only to be met with a table full of food.
