I.

I wonder if it's too late for me to get out of going to this party.

Parties mean people. Stupid guys ready to hump the nearest thing they see. Girls that are actually really smart, acting like retarded monkeys while gyrating like they are epileptics in sync with one another.

Where's the fun in that?

I walk over to the Yale dorms trying not to look conspicuous. McKenzie was supposed to meet me at the door because I can't get into her building otherwise, but when I get there she is nowhere to be found.

After ten minutes I have gotten countless creeper peers and I decide to just walk in when the door opens again.

As I'm about to make my move I get a glimpse of the RA's on duty.

Dammit. Just act natural.

I slide through the door and try not to make eye contact with anyone. Time seems to slow down. I can feel their eyes on me.

Oh god, I hope I don't get in trouble for this. Isn't this technically trespassing?

"Hey?" There is a questioning tone to the RA's voice.

Oh crap. I'm not going down without a fight!

I bolt so quickly, enough to put a racehorse to shame, easily scale five flights of stairs, and jump from the stairwell into the lit hallway.

Haha! I look behind me, but no one is tailing me. I wonder if I overreacted.

"I was just about to come get you." McKenzie says, running at me from down the hall. She's dressed in a robe.

You weren't about to come get anyone.

"Got impatient." I explain and fall into step behind her.

"I think you're excited about this party tonight."

I want to burst into flames.

"Yeah, sure." I groan.

"You act like you've never been to a party before."

I just give her my best no-stuff-dipshit expression.

Her eyebrows shoot up in an elated state. "I get to take your party virginity."

What?

"In any case, that explains why you are dressed like that." she states unapologetically.

I don't know if I should be offended because it's absolutely true. I didn't put much effort into this outfit. It's a simple pair of denims and a t-shirt I got from new student orientation.

"I'm trying not to stand out." I reply.

"By being the only person at a frat party dressed like a couch?"

"Frat party?"

"Wait, you do know that it's a fraternity party, right?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "I was just telling you what she told me."

McKenzie stares at me completely astounded. "Do you know where it is?"

"The loudest place on campus."

She sighs heavily. "You're kinda clueless. Guess I'll have to work my magic.

"You're a magician." I coyly reply.

"I'm a beautiful fairy princess."

Her dorm is just as crammed as Berlin's except everything is neatly placed. Her roommate's bed doesn't have a comforter or covers on it.
