I wanted a friend here, but I never knew I'd see a classmate...
"Liam?" some voice said behind me. Somebody tapped me behind the back. I saw my friend Mason here. It was a bit awkward, but it stopped when I talked. "Hey dude! Why'd you go here?" I asked. "You know how it is," Mason said, "If your dad is in the army, you have to travel to a lot of places. That's how I got here. We might stay here for 5 years or more. Why are you here?" I thought about the other day, and told him about it. "Sorry that happened. Is anyone here that helped you? Because my mom bought a car that can-" Mason said. "It's fine, I have relatives who live near us." I interrupted.
"Ok that's good," Mason replied, "if you need anything I'll be in my house. Bye!" I waved goodbye. We all walked to our hotel. It was 2:23 PM and I decided to watch some TV. I didn't understand what was going on or what they're saying, but I still enjoyed it. I was glad to have a classmate be here. I saw my mom on the bed sleeping and dad was going to the grocery store using an Uber. My siblings we're watching videos on my laptop. I've always been an un-emotional person all my life, but I thought: Wow, I'm glad my family is enjoying Korea. That was really cheesy🧀😑.
As soon as it was dinnertime, my dad cooked something. It was spaghetti with some Korean meat. Not the best combination, but oh well. We chowed it down and we're stuffed. After the great dinner, we all took a shower and changed into our night clothes. Tomorrow my mom planned to go to a department store and get new clothes. "Good night mom! Good night dad!" I whispered. Good night all.
The next day, Thursday
*Yawn*
Ahhhh...good morning! I yawned again. I stood up and stretched. I walked to couch and squished some space to lie down. I didn't like my airbed that much. It was a bit uncomfortable. I lied down and watched some 5-Minute Crafts videos because, you know, I'm one of those people. I looked toy right and saw my little sister wake up, and then my little brother. My older sister was in the bathroom. I stayed on the couch until my mom and dad woke up to call me. I kept watching, watching, and watching until ring ring my phone rang. It was from Mason.📱Liam?? Hey Liam???? Liam???
⚡YESSS?!?!
📱How's it going? If you wanna eat with us were at Flying Pan Blue, it's not that far!
⚡Oh sure. And just to be sure, I'll ask my parents. (hold) They said yes!
📱Good! You can order in advance!
⚡Nahh, it's okay. It'll be too much for you. We can be there in about 30 minutes or less.
📱You sure?
⚡Yeah it's okay👌!
📱K, bye!
Phone call ends
I went to the bathroom to change into my day clothes. Then I went back to the couch. Now that it's empty, I get to lie down and stretch my arms and legs. I began watching some gameplay on my phone. I couldn't wait to eat. "K, let's go walk to the restaurant!" Dad exclained. I really think we've all been losing our minds and our weight by walking to the places we go to.
When we got there, they greeted us and the waiters immediately came to us to get our order. My little brother and sister got pancakes. I got some French Toast. Both my parents got a sandwich. It was really good! I got to see what Mason has been up to and my parents talking with Mason's parents. It was a perfect time for my mom to see what we could do while we're in Seoul.
After eating, we went home. For us, that breakfast was brunch. We went to the department store at a mall and shopped for some clothes. I got some jeans and some t-shirts and some long-sleeved, just in case. I also got a jacket, pairs of socks, and a pair of shoes. We wasted 1,062,936 Won or more. I really liked it here. We then went home after shopping, and stopped at a store for snacks.
When we got home, my mom FaceTimed my Aunt and Uncle, the other one that lives in Arizona, USA. We told them about the plane from Osaka that crashed. We told them we had to stay in Korea, and told them she'll ask her children if they like Korea or Japan more. If we like Japan, we'll go there. If not, we'll stay here. While mom was talking, I looked up some things to do in Osaka. There was a Universal Studios there, a Ferris wheel, a sky garden, and an aquarium. It sounded really fun. But I didn't know what to choose.
Osaka or Seoul?
