Next day, when Shravya went to School, her eyes were looking only for Pranay.
It was important to find out that, was he roaming around her street specially for her or any friend of his had started living there.
She went to her classroom and took a seat on her respective bench. She had just opened the desk to keep her bag, when she found a wooden box placed inside the desk.
She looked around then took the box in her hand.
'Who kept it here?
for whom?
What's in it?
Should I open it?'She questioned to herself.
After thinking for a while, she slowly opened the box.It was her scarf, the chiffon sky blue scarf.
Then only she recalled that, yesterday her scarf flew away while running. She smiled for a second but, soon her face turned into an expression filled with astonishment mixed with nervousness.
She bited her bottom lips then, looked around, wondering for the person who kept it there. No-one was there. She wanted to know but, somewhere in the corner of her heart she knew, who could keep it there but still, she was not sure.
The scarf was kept inside the box, neatly folded in a way, that looks like a rose. A rose....which held an unknown, special fragrance now. She took it in her hand and let it touch the flawless white skin of her cheeks. She inhaled the fragrance. Now that scarf seemed something special to her. She kept it inside the box in the same manner and safely shoved it inside, under many layers of her bag.
After sometime, all other students started coming in the classroom followed by the teacher, the teacher started her teaching session by answering students' questions and asking them questions but, what about Shravya's questions?
No-one was there to give her answers. All the time, she kept starring out of the window, lost in her own world, asking questions to herself. How desperately she waited that, when Pranay would go through the corridor, outside her classroom and she would see him but, it never happened.
Shravya had many questions to ask and things to understand. A bustle was happening in her mind.
But, when Pranay met her after the not so long time, that felt eons to her, her tongue locked up within her mouth. She couldn't ask him anything. She just kept staring at her, stoping the blinking process of her eyes.
Shravya didn't even have to ask because, she found all the answers of her questions, in Pranay's smiling eyes.
________
Pranay was seen frequently in her area, since that day. Sometimes buying file covers from the stationary shop or sometimes drinking sugarcane juice from a roadside hand-barrow.
The train of their teenage love was advancing further with a slow and steady pace. Shravya kept stealing glances from Pranay in college. Pranay kept revolving around her street and Shravya kept crossing the street with controlling her blush and desire of lifting her head and looking at him.
Now, her sky blue scarf used to flow more freely in the air girded around her neck but....carelessly. Maybe because, she wanted for that incident to happen again. Maybe, she wanted to let the wind flow her scarf to someone special, who's careful enough for her scarf. But, seemed like wind didn't want to fulfill her wish.
Never mind, that scarf was still special for her and she would use it every now and then but, carefully. Not letting anything harm that scarf and she would keep it in the same rose styled fold after using. She didn't wanted to use it but, she felt that was only way to express her feelings. She was trying to send the unsaid massage through that scarf, to Him.
________
Sweetness was dissolved in life. Time was flowing like the cold fresh breeze of the morning.
Intermediate's examinations were going to be start soon.
Means, now everyone would have to go on their own paths. Some students were leaving the town to do engineering and some were shifting to Delhi to prepare for civil services as now, the children of small towns have started going out for superior studies.
Standing in the queue of morning prayers of school, Shravya's mind kept reciting her own prayers.
"Hey Bhagwan! Do something.
Somehow, Make him also join my college, please.
Here itself, near me.... please!!"God listened to Shravya's hearty prayers and after intermediate, both of them started reading in the same college.
By the way, even if Shravya didn't have requested to God, then also it was going to happen. Because, a small town like Jagdalpur had total three colleges those days. One was of government which didn't even have a affiliation and from the rest of two, this was the only college which had both science and arts.
During school, the conversations which were used to happen between two eyes, the scared realisation of that beautiful feeling which was used to reside in the inner corners of their minds, after reaching in college those feelings started to be a little, only a little....bold.
One day, when Shravya came out of her class she found Pranay, standing there, in front of her.
Seeing him, Shravya's heart started bouncing like a deer and Pranay, hehehehe....he was already crazy for her musk.
