Moving towards the picture, her eyes continued to stare at the face.

Dr. Adarsh Singh!
Fair skin, average height, black aqueous orbs and an energetic smile. A straightforward and outspoken man. He belonged to an exalted lifestyle, unlike her.

She touched the wooden golden frame of the picture. Properly placed the White sandalwood garland. Her hands shivered a bit. She took her hand back, immediately.

Over and over again this picture continued to take her to those black, inky streets of past, till that day, which had changed her life, which had turned her world upside down.

Shravya's marriage had been fixed. Bua Ji brought this news, just few minutes ago. Everyone was going crazy with happiness.

And the chit given by Pranay, was squirming between her fingers.

After some time everyone became busy. Maa went in kitchen to make the sweets. Babu Ji was busy, seated on his rocking chair, calling all the relatives with the landline phone, giving the good news. Sister and brothers were busy, planning about her marriage. Their planning included everything, from Haldi, Mehandi to Reception and from their clothings to dance performance.

Bua Ji was also very busy, doing her duty. Informing all the neighbours that Shravya's marriage was fixed and she was the great soul who have done this great work.
Social Service!

She was still standing there, seemed like her body turned into stone. She kept staring at everyone's happy faces. After few minutes, she had ran towards her room.

After reaching in her room, she closed the door and fell on her bed. Sobbing hard and harder.

She freed the chit from her fist. Opened it with her soppy fingers and straightened it on the bed. She had caressed it with her palm, removing the crinkles.

The page was soaked with her sweat, traces of plications could be seen and page was crinkled from outer aspect yet, the words written on it was as same as theretofore. As if, written on a stone.

Those, three magical words!

Three words, written with green ink, on the plain white paper which was torn from a rough notebook.

Pranay had confessed his love for her!

Shravya mumbled those words, once, twice, thrice, innumerable times.

Her lips, which were dried, after crying, touched those words again and again. Placed it near her heart. Caressed it frequently.

Then she smashed the paper within her fist, like before and threw it out of window.

Sometimes in her sad days, Shravya used to think that,
What would have happened, if she has shown that paper to Babu Ji?
What would have happened, if she has told to Babu Ji that,

"No, I don't want to marry, now!
I want to complete my dreams, want to live them!"

A lot of Ifs and Buts was there, which troubles her.

"Ting-Tong"

She was startled with the voice of call bell, on door. It was morning and the childminder had come. She checked the time, it was 6 O'clock. She didn't realise the time, whole night went, loitering in the woods of memories. Today, she had to drop the children at school, before going to college and also she had decided that she herself would pick them up from school, after the lecture.

Children! Their thought was enough to erase her sadness. To make them vanished in sheer air.

Smilingly, she busied herself in the preparation of whole day. She went to see Ankit and Ankita, both her children were sleeping peacefully in their beds. Their faces were enough to make her smile.

She was living with them, for them, in them!

She awakened them and started making them ready for school.

Ankita being a girl, was excited for the school unlike Ankit. He got ready after throwing a lot of tantrums. He wasn't habituated of leaving his mother. Shravya had tto bribe him with few chocolates and promise of an ice-cream at evening. They got ready and left for their school.

While giving lecture in college, Shravya's mind was still stucked with her children.

'Don't know if Ankita could have been able to open the water bottle.
I know, Ankit wouldn't have liked cold sandwiches. If he might have been sitting hungrily?'

After finishing the lecture she hurriedly grabbed her bag from staffroom and came out of college. She approached for her car, which was parked in the parking lot. Infront of her car, there was parked another car, blocking the way.

She got irritated. Already she was getting late to pic her children up, from the school, now this obstacle and she was very well aware about the traffic of Raipur. She would be getting late.

Annoyingly she went towards the car and clattered with her fingers on the black glass of driving seat. The person sitting inside turned his face and seeing someone clattering on window, he descended the car.

For a moment Shravya's eyes changed into stone, seeing this visage.

This was the same face!

Who can be that person, any guess?
I know you all would have guessed that. Open Secret! ;-)

I was disappointed that no-one asked me what was in Pranay's chit. :-(
Still, I've told and even showed you all. Because, I wanted too.
My wish! ;-)
By the way, that was my writing, not Pranay's. :-P

And someone asked me that, who was Shravya's husband? So, I'm telling you all, imagine whomever you want to imagine, it doesn't matter.

Ohh, err....that was a long speech!
I should go now!
