Teething

  Tony was in his lab making improvements on his suit. Pulling another all-nighter until he comes to a stop when he hears (y/n) start to cry.

He makes you a bottle hoping that it would calmly you down but it doesn't. He then goes and lays you on your changing table to change your diaper. When he finishes you are still crying.

"God Damnit kid what are you upset about!" Tony swears.

He grabs your pacifier and sticks it in you mouth. You start to chew on it which makes you stop crying. He then sits down in a chair and rocks you back and forth until you fall asleep.

Pepper has you sitting in your high chair feeding your favorite, Gerber organic peach baby food. You grab the spoon from her and start to chew on it.

"I don't think we should be chewing on that sweetheart." She says and takes the spoon.

You start to rub your cheeks and cry. Pepper gives you your pacifier but you take out of your mouth and throw it on the ground.

"I think it's time for your nap." She says.

She cleans the food off you face and takes you to your room. She lays you down in your crib and leaves. You continue crying for a half an hour until you find your blanket and chew on that.

A couple minuets later you begin to cry again and this time Tony comes in. He picks you up and walks to the living room. He grabs your favorite toy, little plastic keys and start to chew on that. You then stop crying. Tony observes you.

"JARVIS what does it mean when a child starts to chew on everything?" Tony says.

"Children like to chew on things because of stress or anxiety. But they could also be teething which usually happens when they are 4-6 months old."

"Tell me some symptoms of Teething?" Tony repeats.

"Some symptoms of teething are Increased drooling, Restlessness or little sleep due to pain, fussiness that comes and goes, swelling gums, and a tooth visible below the gum. If you would like me to tell you more just ask Mr. Stark."

Tony goes over and picks you up.

"Ok kiddo I'm gonna play dentist and take a look at your teeth quickly." He says.

He grabs your toy and sets it down on a coffee table net to you and lays you down on his lap. He opens your mouth and sees two little teeth barley there on the bottom of your gums. He gives you back your keys and sets you down on the ground. You crawl over to your toys and start making whooshing sounds while making your small version of Mjölnir, Thor's hammer and start 'making it fly'. Tony chuckles at it and wishes the others were here to see you.

"JARVIS text Pepper and tell her to get toys for kids that are teething and any children's ibuprofen." Tony says.

"Right away Mr. Stark."

When Pepper comes back to the tower with the teething stuff he washes them and then gives it to you. You smile at him and then go and chew on them.

That night when Tony gets you to fall asleep he researches and learns everything about teething so he can be prepared to help his precious angel.
