YOONGI'S POV
The first thing I felt when I woke up was a sudden movement under my arms. For a moment I thought it was Holly, my dog, until I remembered that I wasn't living with my parents anymore. When I opened my eyes I wasn't expecting to see Y/N facing me this close, neither was I expecting to see my arms holding her waist tightly. Her face was inches away from mine and her breath brushed against my lips. I didn't know why but she's actually making me nervous although she's sleeping. Her face looked so peaceful and calm, this was definitely rare to see. Ever since I can remember Y/N is usually loud and always moving around, she never stays in one place, it's like she has ants moving all over her body.
She's always been a girl who draws attention from everyone. She's beautiful and different, and I'm not talking about looks, because obviously, she's Cuban, she's already different from every other girl in the city but her personality is also captivating, and that's what attracts all the boys.
From this close, I can also smell her sweet scent, the same scent she's always had, a mix of peaches and cream.
There's a string of hair and tiny freckles framing her face. She looks just like my childhood, when we were pure by heart and we had no worries at all. She brings back old feelings and millions of memories to my mind, things I thought I had forgotten.
I could see her wavy hair flying through the wind every afternoon, both of us still wearing our high school uniforms. I could see her running around in the streets of Busan. The smell of sea around us. Her big, round eyes looking at me.
She was always sweet, even back then when we were in elementary school, I always admired her for being so selfless, always taking care of everyone. She was so little yet she always took care of Namjoon when he broke things or Tae and Jimin whenever someone would hurt their feelings, she was always trying to take care of those who were older even though she was just little girl. I even remember Y/N giving me her apple everyday at school because she didn't like them. She never even told her mom to change the fruit so she could give it to me.
Pulling her closer to me, all those memories started to fade away and I slowly drifted off to sleep with a bitter smile on my face, missing how close we used to be.
Y/N'S POV
My body was tense and exhausted. I didn't even want to open my eyes but a tickling feeling in my top lip was bothering me. Not even knowing what it was I pushed away whatever was causing it but to my surprise, I got scared when I recognized it was the shape of a nose what I had just touched.
I gasped and quickly opened my eyes trying to get up but instead I let a small scream out when I saw that Yoongi was hugging me against him. He was completely knocked out because he didn't even move when I literally just screamed in his face.
Feeling relaxed because of how peaceful he looked, I stared at his face. He always had the most angelic face when sleeping since we were little. I decided to stay in bed a bit more because it was so warm and cozy. Plus, I have to admit, Yoongi is a great cuddler.
I still remember when our moms would hangout and we would cuddle up in the couch with Hobi. We use to watch movies and play around the house earning yellings from grandma for being so loud. It was always the three of us since our moms were really close since their college years.
I decided not to wake him up so I slowly got up from bed realizing that the lamp in my room was on, meaning the power came back, thank God.
