6 ~ Revelation

Anjali let out a silent cry seeing Aneri's dejected face. Her niece eventually need to face the truth sooner or later. Though She's still too young for it but this will stop her from expecting something which she can never get.

Aneri's eyes teared hearing that from her mother and she started crying badly making khushi's heart ache for her.

"Aneri.....!" . Arnav rushed in towards Aneri giving a deprecate look to khushi and took his daughter in his arms hushing her who instantly buried her face on his chest.

Buaji squeezed khushi's shoulder as the scenario started making sense to her. May Nandkishore give her niece enough strength to digest what's coming up in her way.

"Di, aap meri beti ko esob sunane ki liye eha le ayi thi? (Di, have you brought my daughter here to hear these nonsense) You should have at least thought once from whom you're expecting such gesture".

Arnav looked accusingly at Her sister who refused to met his eyes.

"Hum ghar chalke baat krte hai, beta! Everyone is watching us!". Buaji tried to stop them.

"There's nothing to talk about now. Please, tell your niece; she needn't to worry anymore. My daughter will never trouble her again. She can live her life the way she wants".

"Hold on!". Khushi said not understanding why he's accusing her like she has committed severe crime.

"Khushi... ". Buaji tried To stop her.

"Buaji please, let me talk and end it here". Then she turned To Arnav. "Don't bring buaji in between us and Stop making riddles when I don't even know what are you saying and Why would your daughter would trouble me? Please explain!! ".

Arnav couldn't believe his ears. What's wrong with her. She has left with no humanity. Is this even the same women he has known. Eventually rage took over him and he said something which he shouldn't have said to anyone.

"That's because you're her mother dammit and if you're left with even an ounce of shame then don't ever cross my daughter's path. You're a shame to entire motherhood. May God never bless any child with mothers like you".

He didn't even wait for a second and left from there leaving a baffled khushi behind.

3 days Later

"Arnav, yei mai kya sun rehi hu(what I'm hearing? ). That girl is back in the city. Is it true?".

Arnav continued sipping his coffee not wanting to say anything on this topic.

"Now what does she want from you or she wants to get back In your life again ".

"Mom please...! "

"Stick to that, arnav. I will not tolerate that girl in my house so don't even think of it. And if she wants Aneri then we can fight legally".

"That won't be needed. I will take care of that".

"You better be, Arnav. Meera is so upset. That girl is back in your life. Do you have any idea What must be Meera feeling after waiting for you years after years".

"Mom, don't you think you're the one responsible for Meera's plight! You have encouraged Meera even after knowing your son's lack of interest in her". Anjali retort back hearing her mother's invalid acquisition on her brother.

"I'm his mother, Anjali. I know what is good for my son. Mark my words Arnav can never get a better partner other than Meera".
