9 ~ Realization

"I'm moving back to London in two days... " khushi says not moving her gaze from previous location.

Arnav surely has missed a heartbeat. He never thought that coming.... this soon. Though he recovered as early as he reacted.

"So had your fill of playing mummy dearest". Khushi looked at him in shock. "Or got tired already? .... Don't give me that look. You've already act enough, not anymore!".

Khushi hurriedly wiped the corner of her eye not giving him any opportunity to see her tears.

"I don't know you anymore.... I really don't. And I'm glad this happened and everything got cleared".

"Somethings never change. You're the one who complains then give verdict as well. Impressive, Khushi Gupta!".

"Let's not get into these please. Aneri..... ".

Arnav didn't let her complete. "You only know to run away from situation, Khushi Gupta and hide under the shackles of your father. You used to do the same earlier and you're doing the same now. SO GOOD BYE AND DON'T EVER SHOW YOUR FACE AGAIN".

Arnav stromed out from there without even galancing back.

FLASHBACK STARTS

Arnav looked at the closed door and shifted his eyes on Khushi. "You may continue Ms Gupta". Arnav said with each word dripping with disgust.

Khushi looked downcast and her eyes pooled with tears.

"GET OUT". Arnav barked.
Khushi didn't wait any longer. She left his office immediately. Payal and Lavanya met her on the corridor and looked at her as if they've seen a ghost. They tried to stop her but Khushi being Khushi didn't pay any heed and made a run straightly to her car. Both followed her but before they reach her Khushi's car zoomed out from College campus.

"Shi* yaar. Gadbad toh pakka hua hai".

"Aab kya kare. Khushi ko phone kare? "

"As if she's going to pick up the call. Let's leave her alone for some time. Will go to her home in evening".

"E bhi sahi hai. I just hope she doesn't do anything stupid ".

"God please be with her and give her some sense".

"Ms Payal & her non - existing God please be with Khushi", mocked La.

"La please!!"

"Ok ok sorry. Bt Babes I'm really worried. Khushi's birthday is in two days and this had to happen".

"She'll be fine La & we'll make sure of it".

One day later

"Shashi, I think you should go office".

Priyanka sighed as Shashi gave her a disapproving look. She came inside Shashi's study and stood before him.

"It's not like I don't care about Khushi but Shashi you know how she's. She doesn't open up and likes to deal by herself. You already tried, right and this isn't something new. Just give her sometimes. She'll be fine, trust me".

Shashi got up from his chair and rubbed his temple. "I don't know Priyanka but I don't feel like leaving her like this. Khushi has not come out of her room since yesterday. Tomorrow is her birthday party if she remains like this then how it would work".
