A/N: Hey guys and girls. I wasn't going to do any Author notes but I wanted to ask you all something. Could you comment and say really anything? That you liked it, hated it, any criticism, even suggestions. Thanks, Enjoy.
A fire was lit in the face of Bill Denbrough as he realized what exactly was happening. He had rushed over to Beverly and kissed her, following with her now kissing him back. There was no way around their feelings now with It being "gone."
When they finally split from each other, Bill had a blank face as Beverly is grinning madly at him, red blush plastered on her cheeks.
Her hand slowly falls from his face and a frown grows onto her. "I should probably get sleep for tomorrow." She whispers, as if hoping the words weren't said at all or even true.
Bill grabs her hand quickly, "D-d-don't. Don't go. Y-y-you could even stay." He is quickly trying to find anything to keep her here. "Bill, it's a long trip and... don't make this harder." She looks at the ground, tears slowly swelling in her eyes. Bill puts a hand on her shoulder. "Do you h-h-have to go?" He says quietly. She nods slightly. "Where could I go, if I stayed?" Looking up at him with tears running down her cheeks. He hugs her quickly. "With m-m-me. Only if you w-w-wanted to, of course." He reddens and shifts uneasily at the embarrassment of what he has just proposed. She leans back and looks into his eyes, "Bill, are you being serious?" Bill just nods as his mom had offered it, always liking the girl when she found out she wasn't as the whole town thought.
"I was t-t-too afraid to ask, thinking maybe y-y-you'd say no. But if there is a slight ch-ch-chance you'll stay. This is my last resort." He's looking down and turning a rock over with his foot. Her hand travels to his chin, lifting it up and kissing him slightly. Bill's face goes numb and brightly colored red. Backing up, she smiles at the ground, wiping the tears away. "Only if your parents are okay with it." She says to him, hoping to God that they are. "My m-m-mom is... my dad... doesn't n-n-need to know." He whispers the last part. Only then does Beverly remember that he had left them when his mom kicked him out. 'How could she be so stupid.' She thought to herself. "D-d-don't worry about it. L-l-lets head back home." He smiles slightly, noticing her discomfort.
Off in the woods, Ben was cowering behind a tree, watching the whole thing unfold. Half happy that Beverly was staying, half angry that she wasn't leaving and possibly forgetting Bill.***
Bill opened his front door to see his Mom all the way at the end of the kitchen. She turned and her face lit up. "Hello, Beverly. See Bill, I told you she'd say yes!" Bill gave her a look of, 'come on, Mom.'
"Do you need help unpacking for Beverly?" His mom asked as she set dishes down. "N-n-no, mom thanks. I think we have it." Bill picked up both of Beverly's suitcases and did a slight courtesy, "A-a-after you, m-m-m' lady." Beverly giggled and started heading up.
Once they reached Beverly's room, which was across from Bill's, he set everything down. "D-d-do you need help unpacking?" He said, getting a bit red in the face. "If it's alright with you, Bill." Noticing his slight blush but not thinking too much into it.
She saw him open up one suitcase which had her undergarments on top. He immediately closed it, standing up very red in the face and stuttering more then usually, obviously flustered. "S-s-sorry, Beverly. M-m-maybe you should unp-p-pack that one."
"It's okay Bill. You almost look like you don't want to see that." She winked at him giggling. He backed up a bit, looking scared, scanning around the room, everywhere except her face. "I... uh... it's n-n-not... the..."
"Sorry, Bill. I don't want to make you uncomfortable. It was just a joke." She looked into his eyes, trying to let him know, everything was fine. "I t-t-think I'll leave you t-t-to it." Bill said as he went over to his room. "Bill?" Beverly called after him but he closed the door. 'What could be going on with him?'***
Beverly finished up her packing and listened to music so before dinner she headed to Bill's room, knocking lightly. No answer. Opening the door she saw Bill by the window, muttering to himself. "He t-t-thrusts his f-f-fists..."
"Bill?" Beverly said quietly. He looked up and smiled. "S-s-sorry about leaving earlier. I was j-j-just a little uncomfortable." Beverly began walking over to him and took a seat next to him on his window seat.
"It's okay. I only meant it as a joke. Not to creep you out. Obviously you wouldn't have liked that." She whispered the last part but Bill still heard. Bill shifted uneasily, "It's not that, j-j-just that... I did... like it, I mean. But I s-s-shouldn't have." He looked down, twiddling his fingers, which was very uncommon.
Grabbing his hand, Beverly rubbed his palm with her thumb for a second. He started out tense but eased into her touch. "Bill, I'm not saying I want you see me like that, at least now. But, if it was anyone, It would be you." She stopped rubbing his hand and just held it.
Bill stood up and she followed suit. Then he hugged her. Holding her close. "B-b-beverly... I want y-y-you to know..."
"Dinner's ready!" Bill's mom yelled up to them. "We b-b-better get down there." Bill said as they started walking down. He held her hand until the bottom of the steps, making her stomach do flips just by them being together.
