"Sound the alarms!" Luxa yelled, "Get the soldiers suited" she yelled to certain people. "Gregor you must get suited, come with me!" Sara grabbed his wrist and pushed him on her bat. "To the palace!" she said to her bat. Once they entered the high hall, the scene looked too familiar. Mothers and children running around frantically. People being suited up for armour. Sara grabbed Gregor wrist again, though she was so small, she had a strong grip. Gregor was shuffling towards the room where the armour was. "We were never expecting another war, after the last one. I hated that one. Sandwich is-" Sara was muttering, she stopped herself. She couldn't say bad things about Sandwich, and Gregor had a few choice words for him.

Someone handed Gregor a sharp sword, it was tall and the handle had beautiful designs on it. Sara and Luxa walked toward him. Sara wasn't doing very well keeping her balance, because she was so small. Her suit was white, Luxa's was marble and silver. "Hello." Luxa said, she probably didn't like the fact that another war was going on. "I will tell him." Sara nodded in Gregor's direction, "We must go on a journey. We must go to where the spinners are hiding. We believe going there, we will find the humans on their side." she explained, "Wait what about Boots, Lizzie, and my dad?" Gregor asked, he almost forgot about them. "They left earlier this morning. Vikus has convinced your father to let  you stay. He seemed scared, I would be too." Sara replied. Gregor realized Luxa was looking at something in the distance. "He is coming with us?" Luxa asked, "Yes. He is. I know why he is, he is one  of the best our army has." Sara said, looking at Mason, in the distance, talking to a large orange bat. Sara picked out a knife from the belt attatched to her suit. She had  an array of them in the belt. She threw the knife at a torch, right above a spider that was trying to kill someone. The spider burned to death. "I would say my aim is pretty accurate"she said smugly.

"Mount up!" Sara yelled to everyone going on the journey. Everyone going was wearing armour, the people going were Luxa, Sara, Mareth, Vikus, Two kids that were about ten or eleven, a tall teenage girl, Howard, Stellovet,  and Mason. Ten of them going, Gregor didn't know how many were going to come back. Luxa and Sara were both carrying swords, Sara had her knives and her bow and arrow also, Gregor was going to be riding on a dark grey bat named Axis, he wasn't as big as Ares, but he was fast. "Life seems broken, and it really is, Our life is really broken." Sara quietly sang. "No no no! We have to go here! No not there  here! Why need we stop there?" Luxa was yelling at Vikus, pointing at a map. Mason and the other girl were laughing about something, and the two eleven year olds, Marco and Alexea, were laughing at something down below. Mareth was just sitting quietly, staring straight ahead. He looked sad for some reason. He was frowning and he had a hurt look in his eyes. Gregor didn't know why he was going on this trip, he was missing a leg. Gregor asked Axis to fly up to Mareth, "Hey man, whats going on?" Gregor asked him, "We are flying to the hideout. Did Vikus not tell you?" he asked, he sounded sad, "No he didn't tell me, Sara did."

Gregor realized they were landing, "Be very careful, spinners are patrolling everywhere." Howard insisted. You didn't need to be on the ground to  hear Aurora scream as a spider plunged it's fangs into her wing.
