Hania came all the way running home that night and ended up heavily panting, she had went to a general store that night to buy some ice-cream, as she used to do sometimes, when on her way back home she found him walking faster than one usually would. He was continuously gesturing her something she couldn't understand with his hands, unless he came closer enough to push her in the same direction she had come from walking alongside her, which got her startled.

She rewound all the situation and thought why did she meet him and why did he tell her to run as she bowed to catch her breath with her hands on her knees, but she couldn't get to any probable reason so she entered in the house.

Jawad was standing in front of a grave that had with its figures and name that had gone unclear with the passing time, enough to not be able to read. He had a grave expression on his face as he prayed under his breath.

"I am not going to let the people live who destroyed our happy lives, in peace. I am going to snatch every bit of happiness they have no matter what I have to do!"

He uttered in a low voice with his hands clasped in front of him.

The political activities of the country were at their peak as the elections were due a few months ahead. Jamal was going to be one of the candidates of these upcoming elections so he, too, was busy along with his men and Waheed, holding campaigns and meetings.

Today was a special day at the "J's welfare Foundation for children" where a donation ceremony was being held in the huge compound of the building. J's Welfare Foundation was owned by Jamal himself where large sum of donations were made by the most elite class of citizens. Abandoned children were not only raised, but educated and sent to foster homes under the roof of this organization.

The compound was filled with a lot of children and media broadcasted live ceremony on their television channels. Jamal was on the stage handing the souvenirs to all the associated partners with a bright smile on his face as the photographers clicked their pictures shaking hands with each other. After the souvenirs were distributed, the head of the day care center stepped on the stage to deliver a thanking speech while Jamal picked up a newborn baby that had arrived there today, from the hands of one of the staff ladies and patted him as he sat on the seats behind the rostrum. Media covered each and every fraternal acts of him on their channels while the speech started which was nothing but praises for Jamal who had managed to run such a huge organization besides his business and busy schedule.

Waheed was standing beside Jamal on the stage when his phone rang inside his pocket. Jamal turned his head to gesture him to leave to which Waheed gave a respectful nod and stepped off the stage and went walking towards the parking lot as he couldn't hear a thing in the noise of the crowd.

"What is it?" he leaned in to his car and reached out for a cigarette from the pocket at his back.

"I have been informed that the girl from that family has just landed in the country." Came the voice from the other side of the phone as he was about to light his cigarette which he couldn't. His eye went wide.

"What? W...What family?" he stuttered as he stood straight now.

"You know what family I'm talking about."

"Okay tell me where you are, I'll be there right now." he disconnected the call only to dial another number as he unlocked the car to sit and dashed out of the parking lot only to reveal a person who had been hiding on the other side of his car listening to all of his conversation. It was none other than Farhan.

"So there's another family?" he said to himself with a smirk as he touched the edge of his cap.

Farhan closed the door of his room only to reveal a huge board filled with notes, pictures and writings all over it. He had been tracking record of the Jamal family since a long time ago. He was reporter and he had been looking for some solid and big stories to get him through all his hurdles. He had found a strange incident of March 2000 under the title of 'Arson' related to Jamal's family. He knew something was off about it and since then had attended every function and event conducted by them. He was at the ceremony too, when he saw Waheed leaving the stage and he followed him all the way to his car. He knew Waheed was the right hand of Jamal and worked for him. He picked up a marker from one of his side drawer tables and wrote 'Another family?' on it and pasted it on the board.

There was however a question mark at the end of a trail with 'Unknown child' written on it. He knew Jamal had a daughter, who had never really been brought to the media's spotlight but he had never seen her and was really curious to know who she was.

He sighed as he spoke to himself, "The lost duckling...where are you?" when his hone vibrated in his pocket.

"Hello" his eyes were still on the board.

"Do you want to cover a story related to Jamal?" he blinked.

"What? Who are you?"

"That's not important unless you're coming."

"Okay, where should I be?"

Hania woke up panting as she was covered all over in sweat. It was 2 a.m. It had started again. She could not remember when and how these dreams started and what she should do to avoid them. She had once again dreamt of that strange teddy bear with its one arm lost and it was covered in blood. That was all she had dreamt. It might not sound scary at all but to her there was nothing more horrifying on Earth as that strange teddy bear lying on the floor staring right into her eyes and leaving her soul shaken.
