Chapter five

Asher's POV

It's saturday , I have to meet up with the guys . I need to talk to Mia , she has to believe me because I know her sister very well.

What if it's not her sister but this girl in particular dated my brother and because of her my brother is being a dick head she needs to come back.

And mia is actually nice but I will never fall for her because I'm sure she's like her sister.

I saw Freddy my best friend walking towards me "hey Ash " giving me the handshake .

I tried to hide whatever I was feeling "I'm fine bro" . "I thought we were meeting up" .

I saw tension in him "I know but I need to ask you something personally". I was getting curious, " what is it? "

He chuckled and gained seriousness immediately "you told me that Mia's father is dead right ? "

What kind of question is that , "well that's what she told me"

He had that face on that says he's analyzing things "well I don't think he's dead".

I started laughing but I saw how serious he was " wait you are being serious , how sure are you? "

"Well let's say I have my ways" . I hate being in the dark.

He saw I was getting annoyed , "don't worry Ash I'll tell you "

Freddy's POV

He relaxed a bit which amused me a lot .
"I have to go Ash , see you at Mason's house".

I walked up to the door to my house, i could hear someone talking on the phone . my curiousity got the best of me , i rushed to check who it was.

My dad sees me coming so he hung up and gave me a smile which i knew was fake .

He's hiding something and I'll figure it out.

" Hello son, how are you doing ?" I won't answer him, this is my time to ask him what i saw the other night.

"Dad i need to tell you something and please be honest"

I started "i saw you last week with a man who told you he lied to his family he's dead what's his name"

He was not comfortable so i continued ".... And last week a girl came into this town and she said her father is no more, i know i sound stupid but that night i saw the man with you was the night she said he died"

"Well son his name is Mr. Richardson, but I don't know if his family is here in this town".

I knew it , " what if they are in this town"
He stands up from his chair "then i will inform him"

I was so confused. "Why did he lie to them if he loves them? "

"Not your business" and he left.

He thinks i'll leave things like this no way. I have something for Mia and I'll help her but i can't tell her about her dad now.

~Mia's POV~

I saw my mum on the couch , i want to talk to her but i can't. I'm dying.

"Mum I'm out" heading towards the door.

She turns back to face me "to where? "
"No where in particular , i just want to get back with the universe"

"Okay, but be back early" and she faced the tv once again.

I left the house immediately so that i can meet up with my dad's best friend 'Mr Hunter' .

When i got there , i saw a guy coming out of the house . i approached him with my best smile "hey, I'm looking for Mr Hunter".

And he returned the smile , he was so handsome and sweet " oh that's my father , I'm Freddy and you are Mia right?"

I was so surprised, how does he know my name, this town is weird.

He saw how uneasy i was and he chuckled "I'm Asher's best friend so i know you".

No wonder , " well can i see him , i heard he's my dad's best friend".

"Come inside then, i was off to a friend's place but that can wait".

" no you should go please " i said, i have to see his dad in private.

"Okay , can i have your number so that we can talk more and become friends" he said.

I gave him, he was so sweet .
