Chapter Eleven

Mia's POV

I'm at home right now, on my bed reading Atticus' poems. Today was fun, Freddy is so nice and his friends are fun to be with.

And Asher... He loves frustrating me. He called my text stupid. That reminds me, I've not read his book of poems.

The front cover was fantastic, a black heart with a little door at the side letting out souls. I understand this so much. We think alike. It's surprising.

I start to read his poems, well may i tell you that his poems are breath taking. I totally understand him.

But....
His two last poems caught me unaware.
To me i think the one before the last one seems crazy.

That was fantastic, this guy wrote a poem which is so hidden. I don't understand this. For the first time in my life, i can't interpret a poem, i have to see him.

I didn't want to read the last one because i have to know what this one means. I dropped it and picked up my phone.

So many messages, i don't have time to reply because i have homework to do. So, i went to my Instagram notifications.

I saw something which made me scream and jump on my bed. I was interrupted by a knock on my door, "honey are you okay?"

I think my screams got my mum scared. I just smiled, "no worries mum, I'm fine."
I hear her footsteps going down the stairs.

Chelsea followed me back. I wasn't expecting that. So i decided to send hi.
Oh My Goodness, she's replying. Which made squeal

Me:I'm Mia Richardson
Che_sea : 😂 wow we have the same surname.
Me:lol right? My father's name is Jacob.
Che_sea:🙄, what a coincidence.
Me:Look we need to talk, where do you stay?
Che_sea :with my parents😐
Me:🤦, where can we see?
Che_sea: Top creams flavor, that place is the bomb.
Me:😂 okay, see you there tomorrow by 4:00pm

This girl is crazy, she's the kind of crazy i like. I can't believe I'm meeting my sister tomorrow.
I'm sure Asher would be happy if i tell him this.
So i texted him everything that happened.

I got my books, so as to do my homework.

Secret POV
Since i sent her that text, she hasn't changed. She thinks I'm joking, she has to stop. Her sister isn't nice at all.

They don't know me but i know Chelsea. I go over to kitchen to see if there's anything to eat. I live alone that sucks right?

Well that's what you get when your family abandons you.
And it's all Chelsea's fault.

So i try to send Mia a text message again. She can't understand but time will tell.
I wanted to get my phone from the table when i heard a knock on the door.
Who could that be? "come in."

Little did i know the devil herself was here.
She got in, goes to the fridge and took a snack.
She starts munching on it noisily which annoyed me.

I ignore it and tapped her, "hey, so how's everything with your dad."

She answers with her eyes fixed on the tv, "he's fine, but i hate him, after all these years." then her eyes lit up suddenly and she made eye contact with me, "i spoke with a girl today that happens to have same father with me."

So Mia didn't stop, I'm late.
"So?, what are you planning?" i asked. I need to know so i can warn Mia.

Chelsea and i are best friends but she changed. She's part of the bad guys but i don't know which. That's the only thing she's hiding from me.
