I wake up to the annoying sound of alarm clock . i hear my mum shout out from outside my room "it's Sunday honey, prepare for service".
I was so surprised since dad died mum has become a quiet woman and now i think she's getting over him.
I take my bath , brush and i check my closet to check what to wear and i saw a gown , a beautiful one.
I try it on and wore flats. I left my room to meet mum at the dining table . she is back to normal .
" I've missed you mum" i said hugging her.
She just replied with a smile , "eat fast so we can go to church".
As soon as I'm done we left for the car and headed straight to church.
We sat down and listened to the man on the podium.
When it was over my mum went to a woman to talk to her while i was left alone.
Then suddenly i was patted at the back and i turned , i saw ocean eyes .
" oh , hey i didn't know you attend church services" i said.
He rolled his eyes and replied "wow , i regret even calling you"
I was getting angry before i could talk back he said "i didn't know you and freddy are together".
I looked at him with wide eyes and start to laugh so hard " why would you think of that?"
He started rubbing the back of his head "well yesterday".
" what if we were dating , do you have any problem with that? "
"No just saying"
I scoffed "well I'm not dating him , excuse me"
I went over to mum giving her ' hurry up' look.
I hate Asher , he likes to piss me off.
Mum noticed i was getting tired so she ended the chit chat she was having with the woman.
"Mum who was that? " I asked because it seems they were having a serious talk.
She felt uneasy "well, i can't lie , she's ur dad's lawyer".
Feeling confused " so what business do you have with her? "
She flamed up "Your questions are getting on my nerves".
I was taken back by that " excuse me, i wasn't the one that came back one night saying that he's dead".
I got into the car and waited for her. She's so annoying , let her tell me , it might help me.
I'm sure if i find my sister everything will be easy . i must talk to Asher tomorrow with Mitchelle of course .

I'm in class, i was about to rest my head on my desk when i saw Mitchelle entering the class looking restless.
I was startled , her eyes were bloodshot and she has never been late for classes.
During the class , i wasn't listening to the teacher because my best friend isn't in a good state and i didn't know.
The bell rang for the next class, immediately i went up to Mitchelle.
"Mitchelle , what happened to you? " looking horrified.
She smiled "nothing dear".
I looked into her eyes , i saw that everything was not fine but i left the topic for another day.
