Already a month I gave birth to my Ayla. Yup named her after my mother. It doesn't matter the sleepiness nights, changing diapers, and other things that motherhood is. All of this make me happy. "She looks just like you." Maggie said as she sat with my in the couch. I just smiled at Ayla. "So you're okay if all of our friends come by to see you and this angel."
"Yeah I'm fine with that. So..." she knew what was I going to.
"Alex, forget about him. Matt did his job now. And this proven to me and everyone that you can raise a child all on your own. Now it's you and Ayla."
"You're right."

Then we heard knocks on the door. Maggie opened the door. It was Alissa, her boyfriend Richie, Chantel and Sommer. "Is that Ayla?!" Alissa shouted
"Shh! You'll wake her up!" Sommer told Alissa. Chantel came to hug me. "Since both of you want to argue imma say hi to my little mama and her baby. How are you feeling?"
"Better now. Ayla gave me this happiness that I need."
"I know, that's what you needed. And I'm sorry what has been going on. He wasn't worth it to be with you and this cuteness."
"I know now is continuing life with Ayla. And we got something to tell y'all." Everyone stop talking "since LA isn't that private after announcing baby Ayla, Maggie and I decided to move to calabas close to you guys. I just want privacy, now safety and away from the media."
"Yup, it was a long process during Alex's pregnancy but before Ayla came we found a house. And we're moving next week." Maggie said
"Ooh, Can me and Richie take care of Ayla? It would be a good practice when we have our first baby?" Alissa asked for excitement.
"Yeah sure baby, we can take care of Ayla." Richie said then mouthing no.
"You know what, I'll take care of baby Ayla." Chantel said proudly. "It's not that I trust you it's cause y'all live in a mansion and there's a possibility to lose a baby there."
"Well thanks guys."
"Guys the media is going crazy after you announce baby Ayla and more specifically because she had Gerald's last name." Sommer said.
"Look I know. They are making up stories already rumors but when I'm ready again to be out to the media that's when I'll tell my side the whole thing. Now I'm only focused on Ayla."
"Guys don't overwhelm Alex. She has been through so much shit for the past ten months and now since she has Ayla she will do anything to protect her. For now on for the time being here and moving to the new house he will not be mentioned." Maggie said and everyone nodded. Maggie went to the door while Sommer, Alissa, her boyfriend Richie and Chantel were around me, staring at Ayla sleeping. "Um Alex." I turned around "Matt wants to talk to you." I took a deep breath.
"Can one of...." I asked before I got up then Alissa answered without hesitation
"I will! I will take care of baby Ayla, anytime at any day." I carefully give it to her "see, she's adorable sleep." She stares at Richie "baby, I think it's time." She smiles at Ayla and he stares at me with nervously knowing he isn't ready to be a dad. I laugh a little. I walked to my sister. Maggie seen me. "Ready?"
"Yeah." She opens the door we walked out to have a little privacy "hey Matt. What brings you here?"
"He knows. I told him."
"Oh."
"Why are you saying this to her Matt?! He doesn't care for her or for his own daughter?! Don't you see she's trying to get better! Ayla is the only thing she needs in her life." Maggie yelled.
"Mags, it's okay. I told him to explain to him because I announced it."
"Oh, you told him?"
"Yeah, And it doesn't matter anymore. He's proven to me I can raise Ayla by myself."
"She is a strong person. And she will give the best to Ayla." Maggie told me then hugged me "so Matt I think it's best you leave us alone for good. Thank you for the help during this time."
"Mags, I think it's best he should stick because him and his wife were in our situation and it wasn't even their business in the first place" she stares at me then Matt
"Okay fine. Sorry it's cause he..."
"I know. Gerald is to complicated to even understand even me as his friend and coming to business as his manager."
"Yeah. This situation makes us be so uncomfortable to even and now trying to make it so obvious for the media to start." She hugs Matt "Thanks again. Imma go inside to check on Ayla." She walks inside the apartment. He was about to leave.
"Wait Matt." He stops.
"Yeah?"
"If Gerald wants to meet his child just call me."
"You sure?"
"I can't have him away from Ayla forever. What would happen if she asks where is Gerald or who's her dad? What answer am i going to give her?"
"Yeah I understand. Okay but anything imma be informed because I don't want her or you nor your sister to be alone."
"Thanks again." I hugged him "thank Jessica for me I mean us for helping us."
"Okay." He leaves I walk back inside.

I guess this is how it will be. I never knew he can be this way especially to his own daughter.
