3rd point of view
The day of the graduation. Ayla was finishing up getting ready. Yasmin was helping her getting ready. Anastasia was in the living room with Gerald. "You nervous dad?"
"No." He responded "honestly yes. I'm going to see my daughter in her graduation. The third no fourth to graduate." Gerald was confused
"I know it's a big deal. But you know I have like two years left until I graduate high school." Anastasia said "don't you mean the sixth or seventh person in the family to graduate." They both laughed
"Yeah but she's the first Gillum Lindenmann to graduate."
"Mom would've been happy to be here."
"Yeah she would've been." Yasmin comes out with Ayla. He was so happy to see Ayla in her cap and gown. "Oh my god Ayla. You look so beautiful." He gives Ayla a hug. "I'm so happy for you."
"Thank you dad." Ayla respond "we should get going. I can't be late to my graduation."
"Yeah you're right. Then later tonight to Disneyland." They all leave the house. The one thing stuck in Gerald's mind is Alex.

Yasmin, Gerald and Anastasia went to go take their seats after Ayla left to a spot where her senior class was at. Everyone were staring at them. But they weren't going to let the moment be ruin. Two hours later the ceremony begins. Gerald begins recording. When he sees Ayla he begins to tear up. It was honestly the longest ceremony. After the principal said congratulations graduate class Ayla was finally a high school graduate. They met up with Ayla. They were happy and teared up as they seen her. They took a few photos then left the school.

The rest of the day was great until they received news. Unfortunately Alex has passed away. Gerald was the one who received the news. Yasmin seen him quiet halfway of the day. "You okay?" He hugs her then cries "what happened?"
"She passed away. It happened after Ayla's ceremony. She's gone."
"What?" Anastasia said "mom die? This can't be happening. Not her. Please dad."
"I'm sorry. Her body couldn't handle it."
"What happened? Why is everyone upset?" Ayla asked "is everything okay?"
"Mom has passed away." Gerald confused to them "I got the news now. I'm sorry." They all cried. They knew it wasn't a good idea to stay at Disneyland anymore but to leave. This day was supposed to be of celebration but they left instead to see Alex.

Gerald knew by getting the news he lost his first love and will never get to see her again.
