I did surprise my sister. I thought it was a cover up since what happened last Saturday night with Halsey, Grady, Matt and Gerald. Speaking of Gerald he was one of the nicest, cool and humble guys ever. We did start talking for a couple hours then we started to party. We decided to hangout just the two of us when I'm or he's back in Oakland. Yeah maybe it's best to know more about him. Well he is kinda charming and hot.

For the meanwhile I'm in LA at my sisters apartment. I didn't tell Todd I was back because I didn't feel the connection as I had with Gerald. I'm not sure why I didn't feel it with him but I did with Gerald.

Maggie came back from the studio. She was finishing up one of her songs before the release date. She didn't say much. I was making the salad before the pizza arrives. "Hi Mags." She walks away to her room. When Maggie is like that. She's mad or something is bugging her. I walk to her room. "Okay Maggie what's up? I know you very well." She ignored me "Maggie I'm talking to you."
"Oh really? Why don't you go ask Halsey or your new friends?"
"What are you talking about?"
"You, going out partying."
"That was the first and last Saturday night I will go out."
"That's why you wanted to leave so you can partying and drinking and get wasted. That's why?"
"No Maggie. No why would you say that. That was once and it will never happened."
"Oh yeah? So what up with that Todd guy? He was bragging it about in one of David Dorbrick vlogs and to me in person?"
"I was never planning to even go with him."
"What happened to you? I worked so hard so you can get a better life. I promise mom and dad to always protect you from everything."
"And you did Maggie. But in life you also can have a bit of fun once in a while."
"I know you can." She takes a breath to process everything "okay, I understand we're still young. And I know I've been tough on you lately with school, after mom and dad had passed away but I just wanted the best for you." She was beginning to tear up "and I don't want to see no fuck boy to use or hurt you."
"Maggie I know. We both made a promise to our parents graves. But look at me, I graduated high school with the highest gpa and was in the honors role. And now I'm at one of the best schools in Oakland with a scholarship." I wiped off her tears from her cheeks. "My diploma was for mom and dad but actually I gave it to you because if it wasn't for you I would be in this place or have my best friend." I hugged her "thank you Maggie."
"Alex, you've been the best sister and you made me realize that motherhood is hard and thank you cause now I don't want kids till I'm thirty but what I'm sayin is that now matter what you do, I'm always going to have your side and be okay no matter what decision you make." Then we heard the door bell.
"Pizza is here." I left from her room.

We were chilling at the living room watching 21 Jump Street after eating pizza. "Tonight was the best night to hangout with my sister."
"Agreed." Then I checked my phone. You got to be kidding me. After I had this discussion with Maggie:

heyy! I heard you were in LA! I was hoping if we can still hang out like we agreed on before you leave back to Oakland.

"Whois it from?" I turned off my phone and placed it down
"Um, from nobody." I said nervously. She then grabs my phone. She's sees the message that Todd sends me. She was mad. "Maggie, I was never going to meet him."
"He didn't tell you that he has a girlfriend, hasn't he?"
"No."
"Almost a week you both were talking."
"Okay yes we have but you know I'm not a mean bitch. But Maggie I was never going to meet him now especially because he has a girlfriend."
"Good. I don't want you to talk to him anymore."
"Alright fine." We we're both quiet. "Can we at least make it more fun and forget what just happened now."
"Deal. Wait I have a question, have you've talked to guys when you're at Oakland? Or it was those guys that you went with Halsey?"
"Who? Grady, Marty, Matt and Gerald. Yeah they seem like chill people. If that's what you're sayin that yeah only guys I ever talked to. Nobody else at Berkeley cause everything thinks imma nerd till they found out i was relative to you."
"Oh but not those guys who you partied with?"
"No, um Halsey had introduced me to them."
"Oh yeah her. She's something but still has a heart for people and her fans. You know she and Gerald are rumored to be a thing."
"Never realized that. I thought they were just friends. But those are just rumors."
"Wait, are you feeling some for Gerald?"
"What? No! He's not my type." I scoffed and laughed, trying to make it obvious that I may have a crush on him since we went. But I worry if he and my best friend Halsey are actually together. Come on their just friends. Right?
"Uh huh, okay. So he isn't hot and cute when he smiles, his brown eyes shines when the hits hits it and his hair slicked back." She stares at me. I think I blushed a little "Yeah Alex, I guess your right, he isn't your type."
"Yeah, sure."
"Then why are you blushing? Huh when I describe about him.?" I throw her the pillow to her face then she hits me with the pillow and I fall from the couch "No way, you have a crush one him."
"Yeah. Is it bad?" I get up. My hair was all over my face. "Cause I do. Okay the day when I went partying with them, I met him and we talked for ages. We had so much in common and ughh."
"And??"
"We made an agreement to hangout with him when we were both in Oakland. Sorry I know you're pissed because I went partying now I'm meeting him."
"It's okay. You're old enough to do your decisions and hey maybe i should lay off. A little bit. But if he hurts you or uses you I'm going to kill him and I want to meet him."
"Mags, me and him are just friends and maybe it won't happen."
"Let's see." She smirks "he is kinda cute but no my actual type."
"Shut up."

So my sister Maggie is okay with it me living in Oakland and actually meeting up Gerald as friends but hey maybe we can be a thing. I should try not getting my hopes up cause it be true that Halsey and Gerald are together.
