He turned and looked up at Taehyung, whose back was still turned to him. Taehyung made his way back to the couch, not noticing Jungkook's shocked expression until he sat back down.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing I just, no one's ever told me that before besides my dad."
"Oh. Well it's true. Kind yet stern, it's so clear that she's such a huge part of you."
Jungkook nearly melted at this sentiment. His mother was everything to him and hearing that come from someone who didn't even know her just confirmed what his father always told him.
"Yeah she really is."
Jungkook felt his heart fluttering. He watched as Taehyung took another bite of the cake, a bit of the frosting sticking to the corner of his soft lips. He stuck his tongue out, licking it off as sensually as he could, knowing Jungkook was watching.
"So," He spoke up, breaking Jungkooks wandering train of thought. "What else do you need to figure out for today? I'm all yours."
Jungkook blushed a bit at hearing Taehyung say that, quickly standing up and making his way over to his desk before his embarrassment could become anymore obvious.
"Oh just the boring details like I mentioned before. You don't have to stay for that I can just-"
"Jungkook I want to help. I know how it feels to want something so bad and doing everything you can to make it happen, so let me."
Jungkook nodded, and they spent the rest of the day chatting about the line, occasionally getting distracted by other subjects. Taehyung was actually helping him with a lot, showing off the endless stream of creativity he had flowing through him. Jungkook was becoming more impressed every minute he was around Taehyung, and had almost completely forgotten about why he ever disliked the boy in the first place.
They didn't even realize an entire day had passed until there was a knock at the door. Between gasping breaths Jungkook was taking due to laughing at something taehyung said, he told them to come in.
"Hey guys, we're locking up in 10."
"Hey Joon- oh shit really?"
"Yeah, looks like you guys were having fun though. Did you get anything done today?" Namjoon teases.
"Yeah actually, Taehyung helped me out with quite a bit. We have the first photoshoot completely mapped out already."
"Oh wow, I look forward to seeing it guys. Let me know when you want me to call in the makeup artists to consult them for-"
"Oh we figured that out too, emailed everyone sketches and ideas for it all. I think we're actually pretty much prepared for our second meeting next week."
"Wow, looks like Taetae over here is more than just a pretty face."
Taehyung giggles and Jungkook can't help but be torn between the tingling feeling in his gut when he sees Taehyung smile, and the twinge of jealousy that pierces right through it at the sound of the nickname Joon gives him. Namjoon catches the look on his best friends face and quickly tries to divert his train of thought.
"I'm glad you two are getting along. I've been spending some with one of the models myself."
"I heard," Taehyung began, "Minnie honestly hasn't shut up about you since Friday."
"Really?" Namjoon hung his head low, attempting to hide the flush of pink spreading across his cheeks.
"Yeah, you should ask him out I know he'd say yes. You stern looking business types are a model's weakness y'know."
