Jungkook was waiting in his office pacing back and forth. He was nervous to spend his work time with Taehyung for two reasons: First off, the boy was very distracting. He knew how to get under Jungkooks skin while doing nothing at all, so he couldn't even scold him for it. Secondly, Jungkook found it very hard to control himself around him. His professionalism, his temper, his feelings. All of that went to shit when Taehyung entered the room. He'd known the model for two days and was already stressed out about him.
Just as Jungkook was about to text Taehyung a "never mind, I can work on my own." message, he burst through the doors with bags and bags of food. Not only was it an abundance or different dishes, it was all from his favourite restaurant.
"Hey, sorry that took a while I didn't know what to get so I just ordered... well everything" he smiled as he struggled to get all of the food onto the table. He then sat down on the couch in front of it and began unpacking the food.
"How did you know I liked this place?"
"Oh, I asked Lisa what kind of food you liked. I remember you telling me that she basically manages everything about you so I figured she'd be the one to go to."
Jungkook just stood there staring at all the food Taehyung brought. Fried chicken, kimchi fried rice, egg rolls, pork, dumplings, noodles, and even his favourite strawberries and cream cake. He felt bad about almost cancelling knowing that Taehyung went through all of this trouble just for him. He was starting to grow on him, which only confused him more.
"Wow, this is um..."
"What, is it too much? I'm overstepping aren't I? I'm sorry I just wanted to help out but if you want me to go I can-"
"No, don't it's um, very considerate of you. Thank you. Please, stay."
"Okay, you're sure?"
"Yes of course. I can't promise I'll share any of my cake though." He winked at Taehyung as he sat down next to him and picked up one of the containers of chicken.
Taehyung watched him fondly, stuffing his cute little cheeks with all the food he could. Taehyung was still a bit bothered by what Jungkook said to him at the party, but he was determined to make him see how wrong he was about him. He wanted to tease him a little, string him along, and after the line was done just drop him like a hot potato. But the more he stared at the young designer, happiness glowing in his big eyes as he devoured his favourite food, the less that plan became a priority.
Taehyung snapped out of his trance when he realized Jungkook was saying something.
"Sorry, what?"
"Eat! I can't finish this by myself." He chuckled as he wiped his mouth with a napkin. "Well actually I could but I really don't want to. Have some." He handed Taehyung a container with a bit of everything in it and they both enjoyed their meals in a comfortable silence.
"So, about my hair, what were you thinking of changing it to?"
"Well I was thinking something more natural, less vibrant. This is the first time I've worked with such a variety of colour schemes in designing and I just need blank canvases to keep me focused, you know?"
Taehyung nodded as he took another mouthful of his food.
"Maybe brown or blonde? Black could work too." Jungkook suggested.
"How about I surprise you? I promise it won't be anything crazy."
"Alright, I'll trust you. But I have the right to veto it if it doesn't fit the line. It's nothing personal, you'd look great with any colour-" Jungkook caught himself complimenting Taehyung and immediately tried to back track when he saw him smirk and arch his brow.
