They pulled up to Jungkooks home, and Taehyung looked up at the house as they pulled into the cobblestone driveway. It wasn't the biggest house Taehyung had ever seen, but it was very nice. Light coloured bricks, windows framing the front, and gates lining the back of the house indicating his backyard was probably just as impressive.

They parked and hopped out, Jungkook grabbing Taehyung's bags before he could get to them himself. He could sense the nervous energy radiating off of Jungkook, something he fed off of. It was a sign of vulnerability, a signal Taehyung took as an indication to pounce, but this time his hunger was also laced with concern. As much as he loved making him squirm, he didn't want to make Jungkook uncomfortable in his own home, especially after he'd been so generous.

"Hey" Jungkook jumped as Taehyung touched his arm. He looked up from fumbling with his keys and gave Taehyung those big bunny eyes that made him smile.

"If this is an inconvenience for you it's really not necessary. I appreciate the gesture but-"

"But nothing. I may not seem like your biggest fan but I'm a half decent guy Taehyung, I'm not leaving you out on the street or in some shitty hotel."

"Oh come on, that hotel was 5 stars it's far from shitty."

"The people were. Besides, just look at it as helping the line. I need you at 100% for this and if you're being pestered by assholes like that when you get home from a long day of work it'll cause unnecessary stress."

Taehyung smiled warmly, knowing Jungkook had some underlying aggression towards people who were rude and outspoken, including himself at times, but decided now wasn't the time to pry.

"Okay. Thank you." Jungkook nodded in return and they made their way inside. He gave Taehyung a grand tour, showing him all 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, basement that had a full in home theatre, huge kitchen, and like Taehyung had predicted, a gorgeous backyard. The porch was all enclosed in glass windows that could be opened during the warmer months. The yard had a pool, not too big but big enough, and a beautiful garden.

"Feel free to pick any of the bedrooms you want by the way." Jungkook said as he made his way into the kitchen to make them some food.

"The big one at the end of the hall looked like a good option."

"Oh no that one's mine..." Jungkook paused and looked back at Tae from behind the fridge door and saw his signature smirk and raised eyebrow.

"But you already knew that which is why you said that."

"Aww you're learning! Yay."

Jungkook laughed and rolled his eyes, getting all the ingredients out to make a quick meal.

"Take any of the other rooms you want, go unpack I'll have some food ready by the time you're done."

"Wow, homemade dinner too? Be careful Kookie you're coming off as the total package it's hard to resist."

Jungkook blushed and turned away. He was 5 years older yet Taehyung still had a way of reducing him down to a flustered school girl. He still hadn't decided whether he hated it or not.

"Don't call me that, now go shoo." Taehyung giggled and skipped off down the hall.

He chose the room closest to Jungkooks, which also happened to be the largest besides the master room, and began to move himself in.

As he unpacked the last of his belongings, he smelled something delicious coming from the kitchen. He made his way back downstairs and saw Jungkook, jacket off with his dress shirt sleeves rolled up and a few of the top buttons undone. Taehyungs mouth watered at the sight of both the food and the man preparing it. Their eyes met and Jungkook smiled as he set two bowls down on the island. He smiled and gestured to the stool at the edge of the countertop, ushering Taehyung to sit down. He sat across from Jungkook and looked at the bowl, eyes widening. Jungkook had made ramen, Taehyung's favourite. The broth smelled amazing, the steamed vegetables were cooked perfectly, the pork was sliced so precisely it was almost too pretty to eat, and half of a boiled egg sat on the side, slightly runny just how Taehyung liked it.
