Hey guys! I've decided that I'm probably going to do shorter chapters like this more frequently as opposed to tackling 2000 word chapters at a time. It just feels more natural to write that way for me plus it allows me to update more often. Hope you enjoy this even though it's just filler/set up. Pls vote if you like :)

Taehyung ended up helping Lisa the rest of the day. Making photocopies for her, organizing events for Jungkook's calendar, and even getting her coffee.

"You're so sweet, but you really don't need to be doing all this. You're a model you should be relaxing when you're not shooting. We have a lounge you know. There's massage tables and a steam room and everything."

"Yeah I know but I like busying myself with this stuff."

"Alright if you insist but I just feel like you could be doing other things besides being an assistants assistant."

They both giggled and Lisa looked like she was about to say something but bit her lip and turned away instead.

"What is it?"

"Nothing, I just... I know about you and Jungkook."

Taehyung's mouth went a little dry and he blinked.

"What do you mean about us? There is no 'us'."

She put her coffee down and raised a brow at him knowingly.

"Taehyung I sit out here all day. I'm inches away from that door, and as large and thick as it may be, it isn't sound proof."

"Shit..."

"Don't worry, it's not like I'm going to say anything I just want to give you a few words of caution."

Taehyung's interest peaked at this, previous doubts beginning to bubble at the front of his mind again.

"Go on..."

"Jungkook is the type to dive in very deep, very quickly. You wonder why he hasn't been in relationships before? It's because he either loves his work too much to give a girl a second glance after they've..."

Tae looked down at his lap and tried not to think too hard about that.

"Or, it's because he falls for them so fast he loses sight of his work and panics and ends up running away before anything can happen."

"So you're telling me to stay away from him for either my sake or the company's?"

"No, actually. The way he is with you is something I've never seen before. Jungkook and I have worked together for a few years now but we knew each other as kids long before that. He's never been able to balance work and love and somehow now he's doing both."

"Wait, love?"

"What, does that scare you? Like it isn't obvious he's falling for you. Hard."

Lisa laughed and sipped her coffee before noticing the shock on Taehyung's face.

"Hey, calm down. You're into him too, right?"

"Well yeah but, love? That's a lot. And it's so soon I just- I don't know..."

"Okay Tae listen to me. What you two have is what Jungkook has been looking for his whole life. The balance you guys have together is literally perfect and if he loses that now, it could really mess him up. So if there is any, and I mean any doubt in your mind that you don't feel for Jungkook what he feels for you, you need to stop this before it gets messy."

"Too late for that..." Taehyung scoffed.

"Gross, I heard what you were doing during that phone call by the way."

"Sorry, but that's not what I meant."

"Then what?"

"Well that's going to be tough seeing as how we're kind of living together."

"Wait what?"

"Yeah, there was an altercation at the hotel I was staying at. Some homophobic staff and Jungkook didn't want me staying in such a toxic environment or whatever."

Lisa just looked at him awestruck.

"Okay I know he's amazing I should be happy and not scared but I am okay I am and I don't know what to do."

"Don't know what to do about what?"

Jungkook emerged from his office and was standing behind the two.

"Um, nothing! Jungkook was just helping me organize your calendar. Lots of stuff needs to be put in place. Stressful work."

Lisa tried to play it off and as unconvincing as it was, Jungkook just shrugged it off, too occupied staring at Taehyung..

"You uh, ready to go? I'll give you a ride again."

Lisa rolled her eyes at her boss's lame attempt to hide his current roommate situation, but didn't say anything.

"Yep! Let's go. And thanks Lisa, for everything, I learned a lot from you today."

She smiled and patted his hand before gathering her own things and preparing to head out herself.

"You have a good rest of your day baby? Sorry I was too busy this afternoon to spend time with you." Jungkook asked as soon as they got in the car, putting his hand on Taehyung's thigh.

"Yeah, it was good." He replied dryly while staring out the window at the evening sky.

"Everything okay? You seem upset."

"No, it's fine. Promise." Taehyung forced a smile before placing a reassuring hand over Jungkooks. He returned the smile and squeezed his leg affectionately as they drove out of the valet exit and headed home.
