Melody POV
Ethan and I walked in silence. I don't know exactly what was going through his mind, but I'm pretty sure it's along the lines of 'how in the hell did I get this incredibly hot girl to want to be around me?!'. Well that's what I imagine anyway. Now in my head, it's an absolute clusterfuck. One side is yelling at me to kill him, another is telling me to just leave and never see or talk to him again, another is tell me to wipe his memories and go on my marry way, but there's this little voice in the back of my head telling me to get to know him. Get closer to him and try to be nice. I'm used to the others, but I've never heard the little one before. It seemed completely unlike me as I'm used to just killing anyone who sees me, but this guy. There's something about him that I just can't put my finger on though I want to keep him around for it. Like I said before, he's adorable. I don't know why. Or how. But he is.
His presence didn't annoy or anger me, but it kinda made me feel calm. Relaxed even. I looked over to him and saw that he was staring straight ahead, but his hands were shaking. We had stopped holding hands and it I didn't like it. So, like anything that makes me upset, I stopped it. I grabbed his hand and held it tightly. He looked at our hands then to me and was going to ask why, but I cut him off.
"I want to hold hands. Hold my hand." I said. He nodded and held on though he was hesitant. Maybe that did come out kinda harsh. "Hey. If I sounded harsh, I'm s.....s....so." 'Ugh, why can't I say this stupid word. Why do I want to say.' I thought. "Sorry?" Ethan asked. "Yeah. That. I'm not used to talking to people." I replied. "It's cool. I'm kinda just happy to have a girl want to be around me." Called it. I nodded and turned to look ahead.

We had made it to his house and was currently standing on his porch.
"Um thanks for walking with me. Even though it kinda proved that I have no manly pride." He said. I laughed at him. "No problem. Hey can you do me a favor?" He raised an eyebrow. "Don't tell anyone you saw me. I'm not very well known and not many people see me." I said. He nodded. "No problem." I smiled, although it felt weird and foreign. "Thanks. See ya." He smiled and I felt something in my chest. "See ya." He then went into his house. I just stared at the door. I couldn't move my legs. I couldn't activate my flying power. I just stared. I.....missed him. Already. I don't even know him. I just met him today. And already. His presence alone drew me in and I miss him.
*Beep-Beep*
I was broken out of my thoughts when my phone rang. My body started working again and I blinked my eyes. I dig into my pocket and fished the device out. I looked at the caller ID and saw it was....ugh. My brother. I contemplated whether I should pick up or not. Sighing I answered the phone.
"What do you want?" I asked aggressively. "What? I can't call my sister?" He asked sarcastically. I stayed quiet. I heard him sigh. "Where are you? You're normally here by now." He said. "I was doing something." I said. "Doing what?" He asked. "I don't have to tell you." I shot back. "You're childish." He said annoyed. I smirked. "Thanks." I could hear him growl in frustration. "Please, come home." He said. "Oh don't worry, I'm on my way." I scoffed. "Thank you sis." He said. "Bye Jesse." I then hung up. 'Ugh, why haven't I killed you yet?' I asked myself. Sighing I flew off and to the house.
TimeSkip Vanessa POV
"So now, you and Ethan need a babysitter?" Benny laughed. "Oh no! Vanessa and Jane needs a babysitter. I'm still free to do what I want." My twin, Ethan said. I'm Vanessa Morgan(I'm sorry, I had too). Ethan's my twin brother and Jane is my little sister. Now stereotypically one of us would be popular. Either the older one or the girl. However, we're balanced. Ethan's the oldest and I'm the girl so we both ended up as nerds.
"Well look on the bright side. One of the pre-mo babes will be at your house tonight." Benny said. Benny is Ethan and my best friend and my secret crush. He's funny, goofy, and one of the most loyal people ever. "I'll probably be at your house tonight." Ethan said. "Plus I doubt any of these girls will be there. My mom said her name is Erica and she goes to this school." He added.
"Hey! Principal Hicks. Let me give you hand." Said a voice. I honestly couldn't tell if it was a deep girl's voice or a high guys voice. I looked behind me to see principal Hicks putting up a missing kids flyer with a guy dressed in all black standing next to him holding his coffee.
"Oh thank you Jesse." He said. 'So that's his name.' I thought. "Anything for our fearless leader." He sniffed the cup. "Do you mind?" Without waiting for an answer, Jesse brought the cup to his lips and took a sip. Hicks seemed to go into some sort of trance. He repeated everything Jesse said. "Ahh, French roast. Good choice." He handed the cup back to the principal, turned and smiled at us then left with his friends. After he left Hicks came out of his little trance. "Hehe, boys in the drama club. Always making a scene." He laughed as he left. "That was incredibly weird and creepy." I said. My brother and Benny agreed then we left for class.
Alrighty now. That's the second chapter and a new character introduced. I know that it's kinda cliche, but I like some cliches. Now I have a question. Would you guys be interested in reading my very first fantasy/fanfic of MBAV? It's really cringy cause there was no thought put into and it's kinda just Sarah using Ethan to reduce her vampire urges. Of course for your sake I'll put story and plot into it, but that'll be the basics of the story. Let me know. Anyway I hope you guys enjoyed. Until next chapter. See ya peoples!!
