22- why mum? why dad pt.1

Jessicas P.O.V

I smiled towards my mommy and daddy before i climed out of the car and trotted off towards school a smile on my face. I was dressed in a bright white dress with a flower crown. I sat down on my stool and began to draw my family. Suddenly the dress i wore began to turn red as blood trickeled over my head and down my face falling onto the floor. I looked up towards the celling there hanging from the celling was my mom and dad.

I screamed and cried i turned around and looked towards the teacher and class, they was not there no more and i was in my attic. A four year old girl craddeling her little brother watching her mother and father swing so slowly by the ropes around their necks.

A note plastered on the floor.

I know this is a shock to you baby girl and you can not read yet but this will all make sence when you grow up. Me and your dad done this because i was going to die soon and i know your dad should have remained with you but. He loves me and i love him as our vows say "till death do us part" yet we did not want to part so we died in eachothers arms. Cj is being sent of to LA and you are remaining here with a family called the 'Epsoms' they have a son around your age. Cj will be cared for and loved just hold in there jess trust me words do not express how much i wish i didnt have to do this you are an amazing and bright little girl who can grow up to be something more than we all thought.

Jessica honey dont hold back your emotions keep your head up and a smile on your face we do not want to split up you and cj but we must its the best way for this to become a past memory i just want you to know me and mommy love you so gosh darn much the police are on the way we called them before we did it. I just want you and your brother to know how dear in my hearts you are to me becuase you are yhe only ones i love and care for. Do not think this was your thought. Because its not .

Take the lockets out of your room give one to your brother and the other keep for yourself. You are a precious dimond and dont forget we will be watching you every step of the way. You are a amazing little girl and i know this will be tought but stay strong.

I placed the letter in my pocket and picked up a locket palcing it around cjs neck. My little brother. Mine. Being taken away. I come from a broken and screwed up home.

Suddenly my body julted up with a fright. I looked beside me to see my sleeping boyfriend and on the nightstand a picture of my family my mother, father , brother and I.

Broken.
Hurt.
Upset.
Confused.
Lost.
Is what i still am. That night i did not sleep at all i just read the letter over and over untill the sun comes up.
