The Book-But only for me.
It's always been a habit of mine, I don't know. When my family went on vacation, I finished Stars Above in the bathtub of our rented ski lodge surrounded by mirrors. Just the other week, I scared a librarian when she found me snuggled in the corner of two low bookshelves in an area that was under renovation. I just like to read off the beaten path, it creates a special memory for that book, places stamping its mark on the story, me stamping my mark on the story.
I know it's weird.
To be honest, it's one of my favorite quirks, if I'm allowed to have one.
