The Drauger's feast

7 2 1

A marriage.
A marriage?
A marriage!
He cried.

The beggar
The blind
The leper
The kind.

"Gather me friends "
"For today we feast"
Shouted he
The beggar king.

In knotted rags
Of foul grey
He hobbled and crawled
All in a fray
And called to his men
The leper's pen
And rushed out all
To stand together
An army crippled
An army foul

"Come one come all"
Said he the king
"Today, the princess is wed"
" And the heir set "
" So today we attack"
" In a quick pack"
"The king to dethrone"
"Is my goal. "
Said the crown less king
To an army with no kin.

And charge they did
The fortress so fair
Of the king so happy
And the queen so pale
And butchered them all
And feasted on them
The crazed king
The drauger army.
