Kill a foe
Kill a friend
Forget a woe
Forget the wind
Seek your luck
Seek to befriend
A ruby foe
A dragon friendA girl of bronze
In her arm the tongs
To forge the point
To pierce his might
And to set free
A land without a keep
Of senile Kings
And cursed thingsA dragon red
With dark intent
Doth seek a tome
To find itself
And return home
To its own hearth
And raise the dead
That dragon no heartFor forgotten has he
The great beast he be
That in his home
Is his love
That lady dark
Who through oaths fair
Remains his mareBut to end she sought
All the destruction he has wrought
And met him she did
At the entrance to the land
And to him she bid
To change his stand
But that dragon no heart
Sought no change inside
And so the battle began
And the citizens ranThree days they fiercely fought
Till tooth and sword was worn
And scale and skin was torn
And all destruction wrought
And she was knocked aside
By that dragon no heart
And she on the inside broke
And struggled a final stroke. And die she did
With her broken back and ribs
And that dragon no heart
Felt a heart where there was none
A heart just a drib
A heart just a pinch
A heart that closed a wound once bareAnd so the dragon wailed
And into man he changed
And consumed by guilt and fear
He dissapeared
And roamed the woods
Night and day
Till he died
During a gale.
