loki sat by himself in his room. it had been five days since you had passed away of a sickness that only infected humans, cancer. he spent months trying to come up with a cure for it with the help of tony and bruce.
when the day finally came and you died loki locked himself in his room and has not came out.
"loki?" loki held his eyes shut as he heard the sound of thor's voice. "please brother, open the door. let me in at least this one time." loki stayed still and quiet.
"loki?" thor called once again but when loki didn't answer again he decided to walk away.
once loki was sure that thor was out of earshot he broke down. his sobs filled the room as his tear drops dripped off his face. he let out a loud sob and soon his bedroom door was off its hinges and on the floor.
"oh, loki." thor grabbed his brother and held onto him as loki continued to let out loud sobs.
"i loved h-her." he cried and thor just continued to hold him, " i was truly, completely in love with her." he cried.
"it's okay loki." thor sighed and just wished he could take away his brothers pain.
