"IT was a what!" jisoo yelled furiously not because she hadn't heard yuta the first time but because she didn't want to believe what she was hearing.

"it was a bet." yuta muttered not daring to look his girlfriend in the eye.

she folded her hands and scoffed. "i can't believe this, i'm honestly so disappointed in you yuta."

"look, i'm sorry. i really am."

"it's okay guys, you don't need to apol-" chaeyoung was cut off by lisa placing her palm on her mouth.

"the only way she'll accept your apology is if you and jaehyun buy us lunch." lisa said smirking.

"nwo ou don't ave to!" chaeyoung's muffled voice exclaimed.

"for fries' sake shut up, i'm hungry. come on boys you gotta buy us lunch." jennie declared.

"i told you the bet was a bad idea." taeyong shrugged looking at jaehyun and then yuta.

jaehyun groaned in defeat. "ugh fine."

"oh my god, slow down lis. you're eating as if you've been starving for weeks." jisoo wrinkled her nose in disgust but her words seemed to have no effect on the younger who continued devouring her food.

the boys stared in complete amusement. they sure hadn't expected the girls to eat so much. they wondered how they ate so much and still have perfect bodies. jaehyun and yuta however were more concerned about what would happen to their wallets after the girls' "meal".

"isn't it funny how i always buy you food, but you never buy me any food." taeyong pettily remarked.

"you're such a diva-"

"chaeyoung said she'll forgive you only if you buy taeyong lunch right now." jennie cut jaehyun off before he finished his sentence.

chaeyoung didn't even try to stop jennie because she was too preoccupied by her top priority, food.

"ugh fine." jaehyun groaned. "order whatever you want ty."

taeyong flashed jennie a smile, she smiled back and then the both started blushing till their faces were completely red.

"also chaeyoung," jaehyun turned to look at her, she hummed in response and looked up.

her mouth was stuffed with food, making her look like a chipmunk which jaehyun thought was extremely cute. "we haven't practiced for our duet yet."

she nodded, not because she didn't want to answer but because couldn't answer with all the food in her mouth.

"how about staying after school tomorrow to practice?"

she answered by showing him a thumbs up indicating that she was fine with staying after school. (speaking through actions was making her feel like a mime so she tried to eat everything as fast as she could.)

"after school practice eh?" yuta raised one of his eyebrows, smirking teasingly.

"it's just singing practice for our class you pervert!"

jaehyun hit him so hard that he almost fell off his chair laughing. chaeyoung was about to throw some her french fries but then decided not to since she loved her fries way too much so instead she kicked his leg from under the table causing him to wince.

meanwhile lisa was choking on her food due to the commotion and jennie was trying to help her by patting on her back but it didn't really help much. by now the whole restaurant was now giving the group weird looks.

long story short, somehow they managed to get kicked out and angering all the staff and their customers.

taeyong stood before the manager apologising over and over again for his friends' behaviour while they stood behind him looking like kids who had just been scolded.

"well that was fun." taeyong said to jennie scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.

"yeah, sorry about them though. they're kinda weird." she pointed to her group of girls.

"don't apologise, i feel you."

"oh my god! oh my god! look!" chaeyoung squealed, grabbed jaehyun's arm and turned him towards jennie and taeyong's direction.

"they look like a couple." jaehyun said laughing.

"yeah i don't know why they're not together yet."

"did i ever tell you that taeyong has a big fat crush on jennie?" he bent down and lowered his voice so that only she could hear him.

"well, did i tell you that jennie has a big fat crush on taeyong?" she whispered back.

"we should set them up-"

"um may i know why you're holding jaehyun's arm and why you two are whispering into each other's ears?" jisoo interrupted.
