CHAEYOUNG cursed at her homework. after slamming her book close she finally gave up. not that she wasn't good at algebra, she just despised it. it was a few minutes past midnight. there was nothing else to do so she picked her phone and started doing what she did the best, scrolling through her instagram. she remembered the photo lisa took of her earlier that day and decide to post it after making sure that she looked good from every angle possible.

chaeyoung's cheeks profusely turned red. she sighed, just then the door to her room opened, startling her. jennie came in, panting. "how many times do i have to tell you to knock before coming in?" chaeyoung nagged with her hand over her heart. it was beating like crazy.
"sorry, but i couldn't help it." jennie sat down beside her. "what's up?"
chaeyoung looked confused. "what do you mean?" jennie face-palmed. "i meant what's up with you and jaehyun?"
"oh." realisation struck her.
"why are two being so flirty? do you like him? does he like you? what the fuck is going on?" chaeyoung ruffled her hair in frustration. "i. don't. know."
"also he's the one being flirty. he flirts like i breathe and no i do not like him period."
jennie gave her the 'oh really?' look but didn't say anything else. "did you finish the homework?" jennie changed the topic fast seeing chaeyoung starting to get upset.
"mhm." chaeyoung gestured to the papers laying on top of her desk.
"cool. can i copy it?"
"no."
"please?" jennie flashed her friend a wide gummy smile.
chaeyoung resisted a smile. jennie was older but she always felt like she was babysitting jennie. "that's doesn't work on me anymore. go ask taeyong, i'm pretty sure he'll melt seeing that smile of yours."
"stop!" jennie playfully hit chaeyoung's arm as the two giggled. "ugh, i'll go beg jisoo for the homework instead." jennie left.
chaeyoung lay on her bed facing the ceiling. her mind kept wandering back to the day with jaehyun at the park. she hated the fact that she might be developing feelings for him.
