"ASIA HURRY UP ALREADY" I heard Darnell yell for the 5th time this morning and every time he yelled I went slower just to piss him off. I know I'm evil. I was straightening my hair anyway and my hair is so freaking long and thick that it takes forever. I had just finished my hair when Darnell burst into my room. I think he's pissed
"Asia?" he said calmly
"Yea?"
"HURRY THE F*CK UP" he screamed and then slammed my door. Yup he's pissed. I hurried down stair and saw him getting yelled at by our mom Malik was sitting at the table watching them go back and forth. I walked over to him
"what up" I said grabbing a piece of his bacon. He stared a his plate then at me for moment. I just shrugged at him and he rolled his eyes
"what you do to piss him off so bad"
"nothing he just doesn't have any patience, its a shame really" I said looking at Darnell he looked at and narrowed his eyes at me. I ran out and grabbed my stuff" come on D we don't want to be late do we" I said smirking. He just pushed me out the door" rude" I mumbled under my breath and hopped in the car. The ride to school was silent. It was starting to irritate me so I kept asking him questions and he just kept ignored me. When we got out and headed inside the school he didn't even hold the door for me,the door almost slamming in my face
"be that way then" I yelled at him and he just kept walking. I met up with my friend who were in the gym because we had a special assembly that we probably wasn't even gone listen to.
"Asia I have to tell you something" Mya said excitedly
"what"
"Malik asked me out" she said smiling like crazy. I looked at her shocked. I couldn't believe it
"when did this happen" I asked as we sat on the bleachers with the rest of the crew
"yesterday when I left yo room, I went to his and we talked he said he was sick of playing games and he was going to take me out whether I liked it or not so course me being me I acted like I was mad and left.
"why you look happy to me"
"yea but he didn't need to know that" she said smiling and I just laughed
"what y'all two gossiping about" Ebony said coming to sit next to me
"Malik asked her out"
"what!"
"Asia" Mya hit my arm
"sorry I didn't know that it was a secret"
"when did this happen" Ebony asked crossing her arms. Great here comes the attitude
"yesterday" Mya answered
" why would he pick her and over me" Ebony whispered in my hear but the girl cant whisper to safe her life and Mya heard what she said and left to sit with Deshawn and Terrance. I looked over at Ebony
"what" she said trying to act innocent. I just rolled my eyes. Even though she my best friend she still has her moments. Mya his a shy person and always has been so she wasn't going to say anything to her. It was towards the middle of the assembly and I as getting bored and Deshawn kept pulling my hair like a five year old.
"if you don't stop touching me I with rip your arm off and shove it down your throat" I whispered narrowing my eyes at him and he just looked at me while Vincent and Terrance started laughing. I rolled my eyes and turned back around sometime you have to threaten him to get him to stop and sometime that doesn't even work.
"hey isn't that Phoenix down there" I looked where Ebony was pointing and saw him leaning against the bleachers with ear phones in his ears and his hands in his pocket. His intense eyes connected with mine for a sec before looking away and walking out the door.
