"S-so, you're saying you want it to b-be over?" I blub into the phone. Sam's tired sigh comes across more as a bored one.
"Look, Jade, I just- we're always apart, I can't take this anymore... I'm sorry" Sam sighed as he hung up. I wiped away the tears streaming down my cheeks.
"Jadey, we're goin' out toni- Poopy?! What's wrong?" Perrie's voice startles me, I look up
"N-nothing" I whisper. I feel a hand on my shoulder.
"Jade..." Jesy's concerned voice asks as I turn around
"S-Sam... he..."I started but Jesy already knew. She pulled me into a tight hug, kissing the top of me head.
"He's a dick, Poopy, a dick, alright?" Leigh-Anne whispers, wrapping an arm around my shoulders.
"You deserved way better than him, alright?" Perrie says her hug now joining the mix. I smile and wipe away the tears.
"You guys go, I'm gonna stay..." I trail off holding my right arm, my left draping across my body as some sort of shield. Perrie opens her mouth to protest but Leigh places a hand of her shoulder. Perrie's worried face changes into a small, nervous smile.
"Uh... alright, baba, see you soon" she says. Jesy kisses me on the cheek and Leigh-Anne gives me a quick hug before they leave. I wait at the window until I see their car drive away before sliding the lock shut and breaking down in tears.
I need a hero.
