"Thank you." Jaimee smiled and leaned on the door.
"No problem." she watched the guy get into his truck and drove out the yard.
Closing the door, she hurried to the kitchen and place the key in a box before wrapping it, and putting it with the other boxes.
Today was Keyeion's birthday and Jaimee was excited since she haven't celebrated it with him alone. It was always with the kids. She had used two days of her working time to prepare for this.
She placed the hot chocolate on the tray and looked over it. On the tray, was stacked chocolate pancakes with syrup dripping from it, a small fruit platter, cheesy omelet and french toast. She had set the small tea cup with hot chocolate at the side as well as a glass of orange juice.
She picked up the tray and carefully made her way upstairs to her room where Keyeion was sleeping with his arm over his face and the sheets bearly covering his body. Jaimee sat the tray on the side of the bed, and got on it so she could straddle him.
"Good morning baby." she moved his hands so she could see his face.
"Morning." he spoke, his voice sounding raspy.
"Happy birthday."
"Thank you." he grinned.
"How are you?"
"I'm good. I haven't seen you all day yesterday."
"I'm sorry i was busy. I made you breakfast."
"Damn. I'm actually starving." he held onto her waist and sat up.
"You want me to feed you?"
"Yeah girl. It's my birthday."
Jaimee smiled got off him, sitting on her feet. She cut a piece of pancake and fed it to him.
"Where the kids at?" he ask with his mouth full.
"I brought them to school earlier and told them to take the bus to your parents."
"And the babies?"
"At your parents." she gave him some fruits. "I called them yesterday and they were like 'yeah it's okay.' Tell me why when i pull up, i didn't even get a chance to shut the engine off before they bombarded the babies with kisses. Like damn. I wanted a good morning too. And Clark didn't even tell me I'm his favorite daughter-in-law." she pouted.
"Aww. Somebody's mad." he chuckled and sipped his tea.
"I'm not mad. I'm just hurt. I think they miss having babies around them."
"You wanna give them another baby?"
"I'm not gonna do that. And even if i wanted to, i can't."
"But you want another baby?"
"I mean yeah. I miss being pregnant." she fed him some omelet.
"So you can be babied around?"
"Yeah." she smiled.
"I always baby you though."
"So?"
"Whatever. What'chu got planned for me?"
"How you know i got something planned for you?" she smiled and ate a strawberry.
"Because i haven't seen you all day yesterday."
"Okay fine. You'll just have to see as the day go by."
"You bought me gifts?" he grinned.
"Yes i bought you gifts. But stop guessing. You'll spoil the fun."
