I made my way through the double doors. I need to be very careful today. One wrong move and I could find myself in a shallow grave.
Baldi stood there with a large smile on his face. "Good morning, _____________!" I gulped louder than I wanted to. I hope he didn't hear that. "Good morning." Baldi frowned. "Why did you gulp? Also, why is there a hint of fear in your voice?" His voice was stern. It was almost as if he knew. I shrugged. "I think I'm just tired." He looked at me intensely, but quickly smiled. "Ah, alright! Well, let's get to class!" He placed his hand around my hip. Se made our way to the classroom. Filename 2 had to be lying. Baldi is far too sweet to be a murderer. I tried calming myself down.We made our way into the classroom. He lead me to my seat before making his way to his. He turned to me and smiled. "Ready to do some math?" I smiled and nodded. There's no way he's a murderer.
Baldi wrote some problems on the board.
8+2=?
1+1=?
5-4=?I quickly wrote them down and answered them. Baldi got uo amd came over. He looked down and smiled. "Amazing!" He's too much of a dork to be a child killer. I smiled back at him. "Thanks, Baldi." I leaned over and hugged him. He hugged me back tightly. He pulled back a bit and leaned down to kiss me. I wrapped my arms around him. He continued to kiss me. There's no way a man this amazing is a murderer.
A knock on the door interupted us. We broke apart and Baldi turned his attention to the door. "Come in, Principal." The principal walked through the door. "Hello Baldi, __________." He walked in. I smiled at the man. "Hello." He smiled back. "Baldi, do you mind if I borrow _____________ for a moment?" Baldi shook his head. "Not at all." Baldi helped me up. I turned to him and smiled. "See you at lunch." He smiled and waved as I exited the classroom with the principal.
We walked down the hallway in silence. We made it to his office and stepped inside. I took a seat, the principal following soon after. He looked at me, and gave me a caring, yet sad smile. "__________, did you speak to a man named Filename 2 yesterday?" I tensed up. Should I tell him? I probably shouldn't lie. He probably already knows. I nodded my head. He sighed. "May I ask what he told you?" I looked down at my lap. "He told me that Baldi is an evil murderer. He said Baldi controls every one here, and it's nearly impossible to save him. He also said Baldi will try to kill me on the last day of classes." The principal sighed, placing his head in his hands. He folded his arms on the desk, looking at me with concern and sadness. "___________, it's crucial that you do not listen to a single thing Filename 2 tells you. He is doing everything in his power to get Here School erased off the map, along with all of us. Please, do not listen to him." I looked at him in horror. "Erase everyone? But why?" The bell for second period rang. The principal stood up. "Come on, we need to get you back to class." I stood up, but continued to push for answers. "Why does he want to erase every one? And is what he said true about Baldi?" He firmly began to push me towards the door. He opened it, pushing me out. "Have a great day, _____________." He quickly shut the door before i had time to turn around. Why is he acting so strange? He usually tells me everything. Why should I believe him if he won't even answer my questions.
I made my way back to Baldi's classroom. I don't think I should ask Baldi, just in case the allegations are true. I can't risk my life. I got to his door for second period and knocked. He opened the door with a smile on his face. "Back already? Well come on in!" He stepped to the side. I love how happy he usually is. I walked up to my desk and took a seat. I realized Baldi hasn't left the door and turned to look at him. He kindly smiled at me. "___________, I need to go speak with the principal. Do you mind waiting here for a moment?" I smiled and shook my head. He nodded and left. I wonder if it's about Filename 2.
Baldi's P.O.V
I made my way down the hall and to the principals office. What could it be this time? Am I going to get another lecture about how I'll inevitably murder ____________?" I sighed, opening the door. "Yes?" I said as I walked in, sitting down. The principal sighed, leaning forward on his desk. "Filename 2 told them everything." I felt fear take over my body. I felt myself begin to shake, and all the life drain from my face. "Wh-What?" He nodded. "Filename 2 told __________ everything about you. Your past, your hold on the school, your uncontrollable urge to kill, everything." I slumped in my chair. This is it. I'm going to lose ____________ and Here School is going to shut down. We'll all be forgotten and lost. Filename 2 will win.I looked up at the principal. "What did they say?" He sighed. "They kept asking questions. I told them not to listen to Filename 2, and informed then of his intentions. However, they keot asking about the truth about you. I rushed them out without answering." I stood up, my hands gripping my head. "What?! You just rushed them out?! Do you know how suspicious that looks?!" He sighed again. He stood up, placing his hand on my shoulder. "Baldi, calm down. We can handle this." I turned to him. "How can we handle this?" I collapsed in my chair. "They're going to leave... Here School will be erased... Filename 2 will have won..."
