Once we felt we had a routine down, Hunter and I decided to to let Easton pick something to do for his birthday. We spent an entire day exploring the zoo, the weather was a perfect sixty two degrees and sunny. We took a lot of pictures, had a lot of laughs, Easton and Sutton even rode a camel. On the way home, we stopped off for dinner at Mc Donald's, which was a rare treat for the kids.

Beckett was a superior little traveler, and even after two weeks, he began developing a great sleeping routine. The following day, Sam and Amy came over to talk to us about their wedding plans. After fussing over the baby, we sat on the couches and they began sharing their ideas.

"We picked a day, April twenty second, and we were hoping that Easton, and maybe even Beckett can be our ring bearers, and if Sutton can be the flower girl?" Amy's eyes were hopeful, and her smile was radiant.

"Absolutely," Hunter smiled, "they would love that."

"Hunter," Sam started, "would you be a groomsmen?"

"Jenna, would you be a bridesmaid?" Amy asked.

"Of course," Hunter and I said in unison, "we would be delighted and honoured."

"Last request," Sam laughed, "would you guys sing our first dance song?"

Hunter looked at me before replying, "Did you have a song in mind?"

Amy and Sam looked at each other, smiling and answered, "From This Moment On."

"Oh my gosh I love that song," I put my hand on my heart, "we would love to." I brought Beckett upstairs to be changed, Sam and Amy headed out and Hunter made his way to get the kids from school. I started dinner and was happy to be getting into a routine.

November quickly rolled into December and in no time at all, Leo, Lynette, Ali, Jon and Cade along with my parents were in our home for Christmas Eve dinner.
While everyone was fussing over Beckett, Easton, Sutton and Cade had an incredible time playing together. Hunter and I beamed, watching our parents with their grandkids. Cade was like another grandchild to Hunter's parents. after the kids went to sleep, we stayed up to play Pictionary. As she did four years ago, my sister announced a pregnancy; their second child due in May of next year. Everyone congratulated her and Jon and the night slowly wrapped up as we knew tomorrow morning would be very hectic between the baby and three kids.
Christmas wrapped up and on the twenty eighth, our families were flying back home and we spent the remainder of our holiday at home.

S: how's the new baby? Sorry Christmas got crazy. You guys around Feb 18-24?

J: it's ok. It was madness here too LOL we should be around - were you going to come down? New baby is a dream, he is so cute and calm

S: aww can't wait to meet him & yes! What did you name him?

J: Beckett Layne <3  I don't have anything big going on atm so Iwould say it's safe to come down :-)

S: ok I will book flights:-)

I closed my phone and made a note on my calendar. Hunter was going to check out one of the locations for his project. All his tracks were recorded and ready. All we needed to do was record Still Fallin' and then we would move into video production. Our plan was to record this afternoon while the kids were at school and Beckett was napping. And two months old, he was a professional napper.

"I'll do the first verses and chorus, you do the second verse and we will do verse three and the rest in harmony." He smiled as he pulled the headphones over his ears. I geared up and we ran through the song twice. Once we got a good groove, we played it back. I sat on Hunter's lap listening to what we both deemed as our song, "it's perfect." He said.

"I love it, and I love you," I turned to kiss him, he lingered on my lips, "very, very much." I pulled away just enough to see his eyes sparkling.

"We don't have to right now," he tucked some of my hair behind my ear, "maybe later." I kissed his forehead.

"I'm ready whenever you are but my body still feels foreign."

"Not a worry my love." He hugged me and we listened through the track once more before deciding we were happy with it. "That means phase one is complete."
