"Sutton you look beautiful." I zipped up the back of her dress and tied the champagne gold sash. "Face me hunny, I'm going to put your head band on and use some hair spray." I shielded her face and secured her hair. "Come sit over here sweetie so I can get ready." Aside from myself, there was one other bridesmaid and Amy's cousin Laurel was the maid of honour. Our dresses were champagne in colour and one shoulder and I offered to Amy for everyone to get ready at our house while the guys were at Sam's.

Hunter was brave and took both Beckett and Easton to get ready with the other groomsmen, as I was getting my hair done I texted him quickly to check in.

J: how's it going?

H: really good, Easton is talking to everyone. Beckett is good! How are you ladies?

J: everything is going well. Gotta get hair finished and changed XO

I checked my hair in the mirror, it was done half up with loose curls. All of the ladies finished getting ready and gathered in the front foyer with champagne, and apple juice for Sutton. Amy emerged at the top of the staircase, absolutely stunning. "Amy, you look incredible." Her blonde hair was done in an elegant up-do, her dress was fit and flare, slightly off white in colour. The off the shoulder gown was satin, and fit her like a glove. We toasted Amy and it was time to gather into the limo. We headed out to the church and gathered into the mock bridal suite, and the pastor came in to let us know the men had arrived and the guests are arriving.
The pastor lined us women up and Hunter came over with Beckett and Easton and got them situated in the wagon. "Can I walk?" Easton asked, Hunter rolled his eyes.
"Buddy, we should do this the way we practiced."
"But Sutton is walking."
"Beckett needs you to help him sit up," I interjected, "so I am going to need you to cooperate with us and sit in the wagon. Daddy can help you out at the end."
Easton sighed and climbed into the wagon and Hunter set Beckett in his lap. Hunter and I were the last couple to walk through the archway of the church, towing Beckett and Easton, Sutton followed us, scattering the white and peach rose petals. Hunter scooped up Beckett, and helped Easton climb out of the wagon and sit in the pew with his sister. I took my place beside the other ladies and everybody stood as Amy walked into the archway with her father. I looked back to see Sam. His eyes were watering, his lips rolled into a smile as she glided up the aisle. He shook her father's hand and they stood, facing each other. The ceremony was beautiful, simple and the vows made my eyes water. They sealed their vows with a kiss and the church broke into applause, Sam and Amy lead the rest of the party out of the church. We climbed into the party bus and headed across town to the venue. On the bus, I gave the kids a snack, and when we arrived, everyone happily obliged for pictures.

"It is with tremendous pleasure to introduce, for the first time, Mr. & Mrs. Ellis," the DJ announced and the guests cheered as Sam and Amy entered the room, "please stand for the first dance." That was mine and Hunter's cue to stand up from our seats which were outfitted with mics and I began to sing.

From this moment
Life has begun
From this moment
You are the one
Right beside you
Is where I belong
From this moment on
From this moment
I have been blessed
I live only
For your happiness
And for your love
I'd give my last breath
From this moment on

Hunter and I harmonized, holding hands as we sang for our friends. Once we finished we wrapped them up in hugs. The rest of the evening was absolutely brilliant. Hunter and I were also granted the privilege to speak. We went up together and Hunter started, "It is such a pleasure and privilege to be here with all of you tonight celebrating Sam and Amy." He smiled toward the happy couple, "Sam, you have been a fixture in my life for an outstanding amount of time and I am so incredibly happy for you." He passed the mic to me.
"Sam and Amy, we are so happy for you both and wish you nothing but love and happiness in your life together. I could go on about our time together and memories we've made, but I don't want to bore everyone," I smiled, "Amy, you have been a God send in the best and worst of times for us and our family. Sam, we've been through some stuff, it's been hard at times but you've always been so strong. Marriage will test you both, it is not always rainbows and butterflies. I have all the faith in the world that you two can tackle anything. We love you both, and we know our children admire you as well. Thank you so much for including our family in your special day." We hugged them both and dessert was served. It was extremely late by the time we got home, and the kids were a wreck for the rest of the weekend. By Sunday night, I was questioning if they would be okay for school on Monday.

"How about we tell their teachers and if they're having a rough day we can pick them up," Hunter suggested as he and I cuddled up in bed, "I'll be around." He kissed me cheek.

"That's a good idea," I snuggled closer to him, "I love you babe, sweet dreams."

"Sweet dreams Jen."
