This life is a journey, in which we choose our choices,
We are born armed with trust and free will.
We either live in silence, or choose to lift our voices,
Neither of which, requires us to have great skill.
This life is an unspoken understanding,
In which we agree to be given a single chance.
We must choose to overcome the demanding,
We must overcome each and every circumstance.
The amount of happiness and success we accomplish,
Will always depend on our own actions.
You have one chance, don’t waste this wish,
On self loathing, and criminal infractions.
You have but one chance to make it right,
One chance to make each day.
As long as you choose to stand and fight,
There is nothing that can stand in your way.
This life is your journey and you are alone,
But there is nothing for you to fear.
As long as you pave the way down that road,
And remember the end is always near.
Live each moment as if it were your last,
Shining your light on each soul that you greet.
Keep in mind it is never worth reliving if it is in the past,
But sometimes safety means not being discreet.
This life is a gift that’s been given to you,
And only you can make it the best.
It will not matter what you have been through,
If you fail a single test.
You are intelligent and kind,
Stately, and full of spiritual grace.
Anything that may cross the vastness of your mind,
Is something you are able to embrace.
This life is your journey,
Now go out there and be all you were meant to be.
