Bucky pov
We land in New York. "Ms. Hawthorn please follow me" I say. "Please call me Rose" She says trying to be calm but I can tell she is nervous. "Director Fury has put you in a room with me. He believes that you will adjust better that way." I say. I know her past. I know she isn't actually 21. "You will have to bunk on the couch but it's comfy and I'll get more sheets for you. Eventually you'll have your own apartment but I guess Tony doesn't have a room ready for you." We arrive at my room and her stuff is already there. "S. H. I. E. L. D. went to your grandmother to collect some of your belongings. They are on the kitchen table over there. There's the kitchen, my room, the bathroom is right through but don't be scared if I'm sleeping and you need to go in there, and you can get to the balcony from the living room and my room if you ever want to watch the sunset from there. Um... you can just help yourself to whatever is in the kitchen. If you need anything just let me know or just write a list and I can get it. I'm going to train with Steve, is there anything you need?" "When can I get some clothes to train in?" "Second drawer in the middle sized dresser." "Thank you" and I walk out.
"Hey jerk" says Steve. "Wait, didn't you have to go get the new girl today?" "Ya I got her she's settling in so I gave her some privacy. She asked where training clothes were so I guess she should be training in a few." "Oh, is that her out the window with the blonde hair?" "Yep. We should get to training." "Come on let's train with her." "Fine."
We jumped out the window and ran after her. She saw us and started running faster. I caught up with her and she jumped into a tree. Like 20 feet in the air. "Whoa". She jumps down. "Sorry, didn't know who you were with so I ran away." She said with a shaky voice. "That's okay it's Steve. Steve Rose, Rose Steve." I introduced them. "Well I'm going to shower and so should you two because Tony is hosting a party and you know how bad that's going to be." Said Steve really annoyed with his constant party's. "Ummmmmmmmmmm" Rose said REALLY nervous. "You'll be fine. We already have a few dresses Tony's fiancé picked for you. They should be in our room by know and I can get Natasha to help you get ready. " " Ummm, thanks but I think I'll be okay on the dresses and getting ready. But where is it? We are literally in the middle of nowhere." "It's downtown. We will be riding together in the same car if that's okay?" I said. She must not be one for party's and that's unfortunate because there is NO getting out of these parties. "Ya that'll be fine. But when do we leave?" "Two hours" I said as we entered our room. I went to Steve's room to get ready so she could have privacy and distance from me but I needed her more than she knew.
Two hours later
"You about ready doll?" I said stepping in to my apartment. "Yep just one sec I'm grabbing my shoes." I heard her from the bathroom. She walked out and whoa. She was wearing a black silk off the shoulder dress that went to the ground with a slit almost all the way up to her waist with a smokey eye and shiny black heels. "You look beautiful doll" "Thank you. You look handsome in that suit and the haircut and shave suits you." After hydra I had no reason to shave or cut my hair. But now I do. I let Steve do it and Nat came in and gelled it for me. If I'm going to live with someone else I can't be a train wreck. That's a good excuse. Right? And we were off into the city. Oh sh!t.
