Efah walked into school and saw Castiel and Jasper whispering to each other, while looking at Efah. She just rolled her eyes and walked to her locker. While she was getting her books she heard someone cry out. She turned to see a girl getting shoved on the ground by a bigger girl. Efah looked around to see if anyone would help her but no one made a move. 'Wow these people are really helpful.' The big girl got on top of the girl on the ground and began spitting on her.
Efah slammed her locker and pulled the big girl off of the one on the ground. While the big one was shocked, Efah helped the little one off the ground. "You alright?" Efah asked.
"Yeah. Thanks."
"Hey, you freak, do you know who I am?"
"A punk who thinks she is better than everyone?"
The big girl tried to punch Efah, but she caught her fist and twisted her wrist. The girl cried out in pain. Efah pushed her back and looked around. "All of you really didn't help her out? What kind of people are you? A bunch of sissies?"
No one answered. Efah rolled her eyes and helped the girl to the bathroom. Once inside, Efah grabbed some paper towels and ran them in some water. "Here," Efah said.
The girl was a little shorter than Efah. She had light brown hair that was placed in a ponytail. She had blue eyes and freckles were all over her face. She had glasses on also. She was wearing a black t-shirt and some shorts with converses.
"No problem... um, what's your name?"
"Alison Berry. What's yours?"
"Efah Collins."
"Well, thank you Efah."
"Why was she trying to fight you?"
"She was mad, because I didn't do her math homework last night. But now she is after you."
"What makes you say that?"
"Because no one stands up to Lisa Williams. Her family is pretty wealthy and powerful."
"That's doesn't give her the right to bully people."
"I agree. So you're new here?"
"Yes."
"Why come here?"
"New start."
"Understandable."
"Same for you?"
"I moved here three months ago. My parents travel a lot." Efah nodded and watched as Alison wiped her face.
"Thank you again Efah." Efah nodded and turned off the sink. The two girls then walked out of the bathroom. "Hey wanna hang out at lunch?" Alison asked, "We can sit outside under the tree."
"Um, sure why not?"
"Great! See you then." Alison waved and walked away. Efah watched her leave. She couldn't put her finger on it but there was something about her she couldn't put her finger on it.
Efah felt eyes on her and she turned to see Jasper looking at her from a distance. She was glaring at her. Efah smirked and flipped her off, walking to class.
She sat in the back and looked out the window. She finally heard a chair move beside her, she looked and saw Castiel was sitting beside her. 'Oh great.' she thought.
"Hello, little angel." he said.
"What do you want?"
"I heard about your little letter you sent to the council."
"Oh yeah? Then you know that I want to be left alone."
"Can't happen, sweetheart. You see, the council is upset by your little stunt."
"Why can't you people leave me alone? I am not a threat."
"Well, we don't know that, do we? You see we don't trust you."
"Feeling is mutual."
Castiel chuckled and put his hand on her knee. "You're different from all the other girls I've met."
"You mean all the girls you've screwed?"
"Hahaha you're funny, little angel."
"What's up with calling me little angel?"
"It's my nickname for you. Don't you like it?"
"No, it sucks...kinda like you." Efah pushed his hand away and looked out the window.
Castiel rolled his eyes and saw Jasper coming in. She looked at him and he shook his head no. Jasper groaned and sat down.
"You two a thing or something?" Efah asked.
"No. Why?"
"Just curious."
"Why so curious, little angel? Trying to make sure you know your competition?"
Efah laughed. "You have jokes. Like I'll ever be with anyone like you."
Castiel rolled his eyes and looked at the teacher. "You never answered my question."
"No. Besides, Jasper likes girls."
"Ah." Efah looked back out the window. After class ended she noticed Castiel and Jasper seemed to be in a rush. Feeling uneasy, she followed them. "What the hell Cas? We needed her last night."
"You think I didn't try? She is tougher than she looks."
"I sent you after her for a reason Cas. Now the council wants to see her in person."
'Jasper sent him? Why that little poser,' Efah thought. She walked away and came up with a plan for little Jasper. She just messed with the wrong angel.
After school Efah was leaning against her bike, waiting for Jasper to walk out of the building. Once she saw her, Efah walked over to her.
When she was close enough to her she grabbed Jasper by the arms and dragged her to the back of the school. Once they reached the back, Efah turned around and slammed Jasper against the wall. "What the hell?" Jasper said.
"Don't play that crap with me. I've had enough of you."
"What are you talking about?"
"You sent Castiel after me all because you want to look good to you stupid council! I told you to leave me alone and you didn't listen."
"It's not like he did anything. You and him are the same thing."
Efah felt her blood boil. Without thinking she grabbed Jasper by the throat and lifted her off the ground. "Me and Castiel are nothing alike. I'm not a murder. I'm not the one who killed an innocent eight year old for the fun of it. All because they wanted to. Castiel's kind are nothing but murders. That's all their good for. So never, ever compare me to him again."
With that she dropped Jasper and walked away, refusing to show Jasper her pain. Efah walked to her bike and drove off. Once she reached some woods, she parked her bike and took a walk.
Walking helps her clear her head. She walked around for a bit until she got this god awful smell. She followed it only to see a corpse of a dead women. Efah stared in horror at the scene in front of her. 'Holy crap!' she thought.
She took the necklace off and placed her fingers on the womens scalp. She saw the women running from something, but what? The women kept running until she tripped. She turned and black smoke got on top of her. Efah watched as the smoke tore the women's guts out like it was nothing.
Efah gasped and stepped away from the women. As she did the vision went away also. Efah couldn't describe what she saw. She didn't even know what she saw. Unable to think Efah ran back to her bike and drove off. The image of the girl was burning in her skull. What the hell was that thing?
