Angels with wings blacker than night. Their wings were spread and their bodies positioned as if ready to attack. Their faces were only shadows and grins of evil intent. Another angel came into the picture, but this one had white wings. However, the new angel had a black hole where its heart should have been. The angel of white wings spread its wings and the dark angels vanished.

The atmosphere felt safe finally as the white-winged angel came closer with non-threatening body language. As the angel got closer, his face became more revealed by light and the angel was revealed to be Castiel. His face looked sad and then contorted with anger as he pulled a blade from thin air and lunged forward.

"AHHHHH," sounded Efah's voice rung through the O'Celevano household, waking Jasper from her nightmare. Jasper sprung up to her feet, covered in night sweats, and ran to Efah's room. Once Jasper's heavy steps reached the door to the guest room, her hand gripped the knob, but the knob refused to turn. Jasper's heart pounded in her ears as her breath hit the air heavily.

"No, no, no," she panicked as she began raising her voice and kicking the door. "GODDA-" Jasper yelled, but was cut off as the door gave in and she fell into the room. On her hands and knees, she panted as her eyes scanned the room for any movement and her mother came rushing in behind her. "What happened?!" Her mother asked.

"She was here. She screamed. I couldn't get the door. She's not here. She's gone. Somebody took her. Efah. Somebody took Efah," Jasper sputtered out as her mother tried calming her down. Jasper pulled herself to her feet and out of her mother's arms as she moved to Efah's open window. Her hands ignited.

"Jasper, calm down. You shouldn't use excess power. You're using too much," Adrian tried warning Jasper. Jasper squeezed her eyes shut and blocked out her mother as she desperately looked for energy sources. 'You're mine now,' Jasper thought as her eyes snapped open.

"Jasper, stop!" Her mother yelled as Jasper jumped out of the window. Adrian lunged to grab Jasper, but only managed to grasp the curtains. 'I'm sorry mother, but I don't have the time,' Jasper thought as she ran through the backwoods and created an active mind link between her and Jisoo.

'Mmm, what is it, little rabbit?' Jisoo asked as she woke to Jasper's mind link. 'Efah was kidnapped. I'm on the energy trail now. Pinpoint my signal and follow me. We have to find her,' Jasper explained as she felt her legs begin to burn slightly.

'Wait, should we get Cas in on this too? He could help and-' Jisoo started, but was cut off by Jasper.

'No, that demon-birthed angel shall no longer be involved with Efah. Keep him out and hurry,' Jasper replied before cutting the link. Not long after the link was cut, a gorgeous red fox ran behind her, gracefully jumping over branches and almost outpacing Jasper. Jasper and Jisoo broke out of the woods and found themselves at a boat harbor as they stopped dead in their tracks.

"She's here," Jasper whispered to the fox beside her. Jisoo shifted to her human form and Jasper's eyes widened before she moved to cover them. "Why didn't you grab more clothes?!" Jasper asked. Jisoo shot her a glare.

"I was thinking more about saving Efah than your innocent eyes," Jisoo replied. Jasper sighed and pulled off her hoodie. "Take it," she said as she handed it to Jisoo. After Jisoo put on the hoodie in hopes of gaining some coverage, she turned back to Jasper. "Are you sure she's here?" Jisoo asked.

Jasper nodded. "Her and the other creature," Jasper said. Jisoo nodded and then closed her eyes. When she opened them, she pointed to a boat. "That one," she said assertively. Jasper nodded and both girls cautiously made their way towards the boat.

Jasper took the lead as they climbed onto the deck of the boat. Once aboard, they both stood still. Efah was laid down on the deck and her body was limp. "There isn't anyone else here," Jisoo said to reassure Jasper. Jasper took a deep breath and moved toward Efah.

After she found a pulse, Jasper relaxed and moved to pick Efah up. Once she had her arms underneath Efah, she lifted and was unable to get Efah off the ground. "Right," Jasper huffed, "angels weigh more than they look." Jasper shook her head and withdrew her hands to cup Efah face.

"Hey, Efah, wake up. Get up," Jasper said loudly. Jasper began to shake Efah's body until she was hit with a bolt of energy and flung to the other side of the ship. Jisoo jumped and immediately shifted to her fox form to take a defensive stance. Once Jasper got back to her feet, she watched as Efah also reached her feet and turned to face the other girls.

A smile crept to Efah's face and worry began to gain a hold on Jasper. Jisoo growled as Efah's eyes turned black. "Well, isn't this quite a pair?" Efah asked insultingly as she took a step forward. "A power driven witch with a big ego and a busy-body shifter with no practical powers," She spoke, her voice sounding almost unlike hers, as she took a couple more steps forward.

"Efah," Jasper breathed as she began looking for ways to escape, "what happened?" Efah laughed in response and finished with a smile. "What should have happened a long time ago," she said before diving straight into Jasper and driving the witch into the harbor. Jasper's back was penetrated with pain.

Efah pulled back with a smile as she wrapped her fist around a lock of Jasper's hair and leaned close. "Now it's your turn to suffer," Efah said slowly. Efah smiled as the air began to slowly turn black. Jasper's vision was almost completely blacked and her lungs full of smoke when a red blur drove into Efah, pulling Efah off of Jasper.

After a short coughing fit, Jasper got to her feet to see Efah and Jisoo fighting, Jisoo at a disadvantage. Jasper's mind raced as she tried to figure out what to do. All of her years studying magic and she felt clueless when she desperately needed it. Finally, she gave up and resorted to a bolt of pure energy.

Starting at a run, Jasper's hands fired up as her voice cried out. With about half the distance between them closed, Jasper threw off three strikes of pure gold energy towards Efah, the force knocking her backwards some. After the first two hit her, Efah let go of Jisoo to dodge the third.

With a glare, Efah clutched her shoulder and spread her wings before lifting off the ground and disappearing from sight. Once Jasper could no longer see Efah, she sunk to her knees, lowered her head, and grasped at her chest as her whole body pulsed with pain. Jisoo ran over and fell beside her.

"Jasper, Jasper, we need to go after her! We need to get her back!" Jisoo yelled as Jasper swayed and her vision became unfocused. "Let her go. She's gone," Jasper said remorsefully as she closed her eyes and fell to the ground. "JASPER!" Jisoo yelled.

Jasper's face contorted in pain as her ears felt pierced. "Jisoo, please. I'm okay. Let me lie here a moment without causing me more pain." Jasper said quietly. Jisoo apologized and moved to hold Jasper for a moment.

"We need to head back soon," Jisoo said after both of their hearts returned to a normal pace. "Okay, okay. We'll get this sorted out. Go ahead and call Cas tomorrow. He is officially in this now. We need to find her before it's too late."
