Past Is In The Past.

Mistakes were made long ago between both you and I, 

Glad the past is in the past and now we have nothing left to hide. 

Yes indeed we feel regret and that will never go away, 

At least we both moved on from those heart breaking days. 

I forgave you for what you did and to me you did the same, 

Both happy and alright now and no one left is to blame or feel shame.
